Well I'm glad to say that Southcoast was a success for Friday. There were some really great bands and not so great bands.
2 of my favorite bands of the day were Keller High School(north of Dallas) and Klein Colins(don't know where they're from).
Keller, totally rocked on Symphony #2 Mvt. 3 Apollo Unleashed. Flores and the sound recording guy were discussing it being possible Honor Band material. However, their brass cannot double tongue well, because Rolling Thunder didn't sound too great.
For Klein Colins, they played another piece that I really like now called, Molly on the Shore. The name is kinda cheesy but it's by Percy Grainger, and has great woodwind points. I'd recommend it for any top band.
All that's left is for tomorrow. And Flores said that all of us workers did a great job today, and will be bragging to the people that usually work, but are on the Dallas trip.

Eh, what can I say? Band has mysteriously turned into this big joke all of a sudden, after many blemishes. But I'm curious to see how it turns out.

by the way. I'm pretty sure Mr. Flores was just looking for an excuse to drop Vesuvius. He just should have done it sooner for all the time he wasted.

Someday I'm going to get my lazy butt on here and repair this layout for the community to where ALL OF THE PAGES WORK. Apparently this was an earlier version of the sidebar that doesn't work as well.
In the meantime, is anybody ready for Vesuvius to finally be successful so that the top 2 bands can go back and do their own things?

Yay, we get to be at the bandhall at 2 on Saturday. And probably get back at 3 on Sunday morning. Woohoo! :/
At least the freshmen don't sing many annoying songs on the bus.
