| Yet another community promotion |
[08 May 2006|06:48am] |
Hello, here is another community promotion (well, critique of banner appreciated), sorry for possible broken english. Here the main part goes:
Welcome to scifisketch!
You`re sitting bored. And your pen starting to draw lines on very first scrap of paper in the range. Eventually lines become starsip, or robot, or futuristic megapolis, or all these at once. You look at it and realise that picture is not bad and you want to show it to other people. That`s where sсifisketch comes in - simply scan or take photograph of your picture and put it here.
Main idea is the same as this community (I stumbled upon it just now), but pictures concentrating around sci-fi and spacecraft.

So hopefully this doesn't suck too bad. But, last night my creative juices began flowing again. See here. It's a Work-In-Progress. I will be adding more detail to it, like some celtic knotwork. Comments welcome.

I had the urge to draw an elf portrait or two, but I didn't have any specific elf/pose/costume in mind, so I did some thumbnail sketches to come up with ideas. I have my favorites, but I would like some outside input on which one(s) I should draw. Suggestions on pose, costume, color scheme etc. are also welcome.
