The definition of backpacking, for our purposes here, is travelling through a country or countries (more specifically in the continent of Europe), while living out of your backpack. This community is less about hiking and camping, and more about staying in hostels or hotels (or even on the floors of train stations sometimes). It is about travelling on a budget and meeting new people and experiencing new things. Backpacking, in short, is the greatest form of travelling :P
