Summary:  Written for sweet Ervy on her birthday!  Erestor is disappointed on his birthday.  Silly elf.

Erestor had sulked all day.  It was his begetting day and his lover, Glorfindel, was not there.  He had gone to Lothlorien on a mission for Elrond, promising to return by today and he had not returned.  Now he was preparing for dinner, without Glorfindel, when all he wanted to do was go to bed.

Everyone greeted him with birthday wishes and hugs, when he entered the dining hall.  While he smiled and thanked them all, Erestor could only feel the emptiness of the chair next to him, Glorfindel’s chair.  After dinner, Elladan and Elrohir presented Erestor with a new quill and inkpot.  They were a matched set, both carved from beautiful mahogany wood, with Erestor’s initial on the pot and handle.

Lindir wrote a song for Erestor and sang it for him, leaving Erestor with eyes full of tears.  Melpomaen bestowed a new journal upon him and Elrond gave him a new book for his collection.

“These are all so wonderful.  Thank you, dear friends.  Thank you so much.”  Erestor began to gather his gifts.

“Wait, meldir.  There is one more.”  Elrond reached under the table and pulled out a box.  “This one was left with me, just in case.”

Erestor narrowed his eyes and took the box.  He read the note.  ‘If you are reading this, then I did not make it back in time.  I am so sorry, meleth.  I hope to see you in this soon.  All of my love, Glorfindel’.  Erestor put his fingers to his quivering lips feeling very touched that Glorfindel had thought about this day in advance.

Erestor opened the box and pulled out a beautiful silk robe in the deepest blue color.  Along the collar and cuffs of the sleeves was golden embroidery of tiny flowers.  Erestor’s eyes once again filled with tears.

“Erestor, that is exquisite.  Glorfindel must have had that custom made.”  Elladan admired the stitching.

Elrond stood.  “It is beautiful, Erestor and I am sure your will look beautiful in it.”

Erestor stood silent, holding the robe to his cheek, feeling the soft material on his skin.  “If you will all excuse me, I will retire now.  Thank you all for a wonderful begetting day.”

Everyone hugged Erestor again and watched him leave the hall.  Elladan ran to the balcony and waved across the courtyard.  A shadowed figure gestured back and climbed a balcony.

Erestor entered his room and placed the items on his table.  He took the robe into the bathing chamber.  Although he had already taken a bath earlier, he felt the need to try to calm his nerves and ran more warm water in the tub. 

Glorfindel stood on the balcony listening and when he heard the water begin to run, he grinned.  “That’s right, my love.  Get good and relaxed for me.” He whispered.  Glorfindel quickly entered the chamber and began making his own preparations.

Erestor finally got out of the tub and dried himself off.  He then took the new robe and slipped it on his warm body.  He stroked the silk and pulled it up around his face, inhaling deeply, trying to catch a hint of the scent of his love.  He loosely tied the belt around him and slipped his hands in the pockets.  Erestor looked down at his left hand when it made contact with something in the pocket.  He pulled out a piece of paper and read it.

‘Come to bed, melethronen.’  Erestor smiled, and walked into the chamber and gasped.  Erestor knew from the glow of the room that there were many candles but he could only see the bed.  The bed that was covered with the most beautiful elf Erestor had ever laid his eyes on.

“Glorfindel, you’re here.”  Erestor slowly walked to the bed and then began to giggle as his eyes roamed up and down Glorfindel’s body. His eyes settled on his lover’s belly button, which held a lit candle. He leaned over, ran his fingers along Glorfindel’s torso, which was covered in icing and then licked his fingers.

“Hmmm, chocolate.”  Erestor purred and licked his lips.

“Happy Begetting Day, Erestor, my love.  Blow out your candle.”  Glorfindel winked.

Erestor leaned forward, blew out the candle, removed it from the icing in ‘Fin’s belly button and began licking the icing from Glorfindel’s body.  Glorfindel writhed as Erestor lapped the icing with long licks of his tongue. Erestor was intentionally avoiding Glorfindel’s arousal even though every time he came close, Glorfindel would lift his hips.

Erestor lifted his eyes to meet his lovers and smiled wickedly as he shook his head.  Glorfindel threw his head back on the pillow and groaned.  Erestor chuckled and continued cleaning his lover.  He knew where ‘Fin’s ticklish spots were and he lightly ran his tongue along the muscled flank.  Glorfindel giggled and tried to move away but Erestor held him in place.  Glorfindel moaned and moved into the touch of the tongue that was threatening to be his undoing, as it had been so many times before.

“Meleth, this is supposed to be your gift, but I am the one getting all the pleasure.” He stroked Erestor’s hair.

Erestor stood and began to remove his robe and insinuated himself between his golden lover’s legs. “I am enjoying this greatly, my love.  When I have caused you to loose control, then I will continue to enjoy your body.  Worry not for me.  This is one of the best begetting gifts I have ever received.” 

Erestor took Glorfindel’s hard arousal in his mouth and devoured it until it touched the back of his throat.  

Glorfindel arched.  “Ooohhhh, meleth!  Yes!”

Erestor hummed around the shaft in his mouth and moved up and down, swirling his tongue around the head each time.  Erestor slid his hands under Glorfindel’s arse and lifted slightly.  Glorfindel took the hint and began fucking Erestor’s mouth.  After several moments, Glorfindel’s body tightened and he thrusts once more and spilled into Erestor’s waiting throat.

As Glorfindel panted and tried to still his body, Erestor released the softening organ and began crawling up to his lover’s lips.  Along the way, he licked more icing.

“It is sweet, but not as sweet as you.”  Erestor winked and then kissed Glorfindel.  “The warrior wrapped his arms around Erestor’s shoulders and his legs around his hips. 

“Take me, my love.”

 Erestor nodded and retrieved a vial of oil.  After preparing ‘Fin and slicking himself, he slowly entered his tight passage.  Their eyes never left on another and Erestor kissed Glorfindel’s cheeks, whispering in his ear.

‘Glorfindel, you fit me perfectly.  So good, so tight.  I love the way you feel when you are surrounding me,” he slowly began thrusting. “Can you feel it? Can you feel the heat, the passion, the love between us?”  Glorfindel nodded as all chance of him speaking was gone.  He felt mesmerized by Erestor’s words.  “I can feel it even when we are apart.  It is so strong that at times, I cannot think straight.”

“I love you, Erestor.”  Glorfindel said breathlessly as Erestor increased the speed and force of his thrusting.

“And I you, Glorfindel.”  Erestor began to pound into his love until they both found completion simultaneously and he fell into Glorfindel’s arms.

They lay there for several minutes until Glorfindel moved Erestor to the side and turned to face him.  “I have one more gift for you.”

Erestor smiled sleepily. “I hope I do not have to move, for I do not think I could.”

Glorfindel chuckled.  “No, you do not have to move.”  Glorfindel reached under the pillow he was laying on and retrieved a small box. He handed it to Erestor.  “Happy Begetting Day, meleth.”

Erestor took the box, stared for a moment and then opened it.  Inside were two mithril bands, one slightly larger than the other was.  Erestor’s eyes filled with tears and he looked at Glorfindel.

“Erestor, I have been in love with you for so long and I should have done this before now. He took the smaller of the rings and took Erestor’s hand.  “Will you do me the honor and make me the happiest elf alive, by agreeing to marry me?  Be my husband, Erestor.”

Now it was Erestor, who could not find his voice, so he nodded as tears fell down his cheeks.  Glorfindel slipped the ring on his finger and then handed the other ring to his beloved.

Erestor took the ring and placed it on Glorfindel’s finger.  “I love you so much.”  They kissed passionately and then after another bath, lay in each other’s arms. 

Erestor held his hand up and looked at the ring on his finger.  “This has been the best begetting day ever.”  He snuggled into Glorfindel’s arms and slept.
