Hello, I'm Cadddr. I wanted to let you know that new users are not allowed to make any edits related to Indian military history or caste in South Asia until you've made at least 500 total edits and your account is at least 30 days old. Thank you. Cadddr (talk) 23:10, 5 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 31 hours. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block or other sanctions.

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: . I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.

Reminder to administrators: Arbitration enforcement blocks may only be modified according to Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Procedures § Appeals and modifications of enforcement actions. Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may, at the discretion of the Committee, be desysopped.
I forgot to mention the decision. Please see WP:CT/SA for details. RegentsPark (comment) 16:17, 25 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Parameters

[edit]

You seem to be mixing up 'family' with 'caste/tribe'. The parameter "|family=" in infoboxes refer to notable families the individuals belong to, for example Kapoor family. See in the infobox of Raj Kapoor, the family parameter directs to the Kapoor family article, not his caste. Secondly, you cannot make caste related edits per WP:Contentious topics/South Asia for which you have to be atleast an "extended confirmed user". Hope you understand. Thanks. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:25, 26 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

But what should I wrote in the family? ~2026-46524-16 (talk) 00:34, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Firstly, use your ID (Rana0110). It is a bit difficult to communicate with a temporary account. Second, I've already explained it above. Caste ≠ Family. The "|family=" parameter in the infobox is for notable families, the ones that have articles in English Wikipedia. See Raj Kapoor article where |family= links to Kapoor family article in the infobox, not their caste Khatri. If the family doesn't have article in Wikipedia, do not add anything. I hope you understand it this time. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:37, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

To enforce an arbitration decision, and for continually violating the extended confirmed restrictions on castes and caste-related topics despite multiple warnings and previous blocks, you have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 1 month.
