The thing to watch now is the edits themselves. Add a new reference next time rather than clicking into an existing one, and it'll stick.

Since you work with Nautilus Data Technologies, it falls under WP:PAID, which is a Terms of Use requirement rather than just a guideline. Put this on your user page:

{{paid|employer=who pays you|client=Nautilus Data Technologies}}

Then start a new section on Talk:Nautilus Data Technologies with {{edit COI}} at the top, and set out each change as "replace X with Y" along with the source.

Hi @Sunsh!nes. You're not doing anything wrong. A few things.

The disclosure. It goes on your own user page, User:Sunsh!nes, which doesn't exist yet. Create it and add this:

{{paid|employer=Nautilus Data Technologies|client=Nautilus Data Technologies}}

That's if Nautilus employs you directly. If you're working through an agency, put the agency in employer and leave Nautilus as the client.

The banner you added to the article's talk page is a different template and went in empty. Fill it in:

{{connected contributor (paid)|User1=Sunsh!nes|U1-employer=Nautilus Data Technologies|U1-client=Nautilus Data Technologies|U1-EH=no}}

Why the request was declined. You asked to replace a comment on the talk page. That page is a record of discussion, not part of the article, so changing it wouldn't alter anything a reader sees. The text you want fixed is in the article itself. Quote the article's own wording, say what it should say instead, and give the source(s).

The links you provided. They're pages telling authors how to submit an article to those publications, and none of them mentions Nautilus, so they can't be used as sources. If you meant pieces that were actually published, please send those instead. Kqol • talk 22:14, 8 September 2026 (UTC)

You don't need to add anything after that. Whatever is inside the double brackets is the link.

I have to ask: are you Lawrence Mykytiuk? If so, you're welcome here, but editing your own biography and linking your name is a conflict of interest. Please say so on your user page and suggest changes on the article's talk page instead.

Yes, I am Lawrence Mykytiuk. Thank you for informing me of Wikipedia's view on what constitutes a conflict of interest. As soon as I read your message, I deleted the link on the Tel Dan Stele page. That was my only link to the page Lawrence Mykytiuk.

I have worked in a large organization long enough to understand that organizations often see things from a different perspective that is quite different from an individual's, so I will certainly cooperate.

Now I have to ask: is it considered a conflict of interest to edit one's own biography, even if it has no links elsewhere in Wikipedia? MykLawrence (talk) 22:21, 11 September 2026 (UTC)

I've gone ahead and added the links myself here and here, so that side of it is done and you don't need to think about it again.

The article about you is the part to leave alone. If anything in it is wrong or missing, post on Talk:Lawrence Mykytiuk with {{edit COI}} at the top, saying what should change and what source supports it, and an uninvolved editor will make the edit.

Thank you for so kindly adding the two links from pages outside of Lawrence Mykytiuk.

I am currently in the middle of undoing all my changes to Lawrence Mykytiuk, including minor changes. Because of intervening messages, I have to accomplish this manually--except for Sept. 11, 7:01, which I have submitted for an uninvolved editor to do.

So far, of six changes to Lawrence Mykytiuk, I have undone three from Sept. 11: 6:47, 6:54, and 7:01.

I still have three more undo's to go: Sept. 11: 7:30, 7:41, and 7:45.

Also, regarding my submitted request regarding Sept. 11, 6:54, to have an error changed by an uninvolved editor, but I failed to include the codes that you mentioned (besides , which I included), and now I seem to have lost them. Also, I didn't sign it with four tildes MykLawrence (talk) 01:46, 12 September 2026 (UTC). Is there a way to cancel the request that I submitted and substitute a more correct request, or should I just let it wait for an uninvolved editor?

I have now completely reverted Lawrence Mykytiuk to the way it was before I committed the mistake of making six changes to it. I plan to be extremely patient while waiting for an uninvolved editor to respond to the request I submitted. I am aware that over 850 such requests await a response from an uninvolved editor. On the birth year. It needs a published source that states it, either a reliable publication or something clearly connected to you, such as a university page or the author bio in one of your books. Don’t mind him, he has no valid reason, so people mis understand notablity; almost all Wikipedia editors thinks the same, the fact new evidence of notablity keeps coming, that’s more reason you should create a Wikipedia page for a subject, In urgent situations, a source can be seen on the internet and be used for reference on Wikipedia, all the articles I created where only create when I saw references and recent prove of notablity so if that is a crime someone should tell me now. I mean that’s true for some cases. I mainly do crime articles and such. Seems you do gospel singers no? I follow the rules and try to see if it’s notable like you. Like you said new evidence of notability.
