I can't find any sources. I tried to prod it, but it was deprodded. PRODs[edit]Hi, did you do a WP:BEFORE for Sahamaitso and Sovu, Rwanda before PRODing them? There's lots of coverage on Google Books for both of them, certainly enough to meet WP:GEOLAND. Kowal2701 (talk, contribs) 17:45, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
CS1 error on Brahmasthan[edit]
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 21:16, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
This one might be notable, so I alerted the WikiProject team for India. A brief look at Google Books verifies that it exists, but I only see directories, so I'm not going to deprod it. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 11:24, 29 April 2026 (UTC) *pokes* SilverserenC 17:46, 13 May 2026 (UTC) New Page Patrol Newsletter - May 2026[edit]Hello JoeNMLC, Backlog update At the time of this message, there are 15,282 articles and 32,951 redirects awaiting review. After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated. 2024 and 2025 NPP Awards Hey man im josh and MPGuy2824 won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects. Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. BoyTheKingCanDance, Rosiestep, SunDawn, and Vanderwaalforces were inducted into the NPP Hall of Fame for having two separate years of 2,000+ article reviews. January–February backlog drive The experimental two-month long backlog drive concluded with 183 reviewers patrolling over 27,761 articles and 35,309 redirects, earning over 36,836 points. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 6,484.6 points in this drive. May backlog drive An article-only backlog drive is currently underway. We are hoping to make a big dent in the backlog. You can read more about it or join at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Backlog drives/May 2026. PageTriage An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket if you're interested in following along. Reminders:
The article Frederic Marcotte has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Bearian (talk) 18:48, 17 May 2026 (UTC) Hi JoeNMLC, I noticed you've recently added a notability tag to Antoine Pol, a tag which was added to other issues it had (no references, missing picture, etc.). After adding Les Passantes, I thought it would make sense for me to try to "save" poor Mr. Pol from being deleted. So I tried to imporve it by adding information, adding citations, adding Antoine's picture and re-writing some of the text. I hope it looks a bit better now. With that, I don't want to be the one removing the "This article has multiple issues" message/tag, until someone (with more experience than mine) review and grant their "ok". Would you please be able to review and if everything looks good, remove the message? (if more work is required, tell me and I'll try to do my best to do it) Cheers, The Regulator 1 (talk) 15:11, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
AJMN[edit]Do you have any thoughts on how to make Al Jazeera media network a good article? It is a controversial article - so i cant make everyone happy. But would appreciate your input. Cinaroot (talk) 07:46, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
Unreliable football sources[edit]Hi JoeNMLC. I feel like it has happened a few times recently that I have removed unreliable sources you added, this and this being two instances. Could please have a look at WP:WPFLINKSNO so as to avoid adding unreliable football-specific sources going forward? Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 22:27, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
Articles for Creation backlog drive[edit]Hello JoeNMLC: WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August! You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful. Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

AUG26 edits[edit]Hi there, sorry to bother. May I ask about your edits on the Japanese train stations? Probably my own oversight but I don't seem to be able to find them mentioned in any of the sources. Menden Station and Mareppu Station to name a few. Any particular blocks of text I missed? PeepeeDino (talk) 04:55, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
No footnotes tag[edit]Why do you feel the No Footnotes template is appropriate with this change you made? The article has no references whatsoever, which is why it has been tagged with Unreferenced since 2012. --ZimZalaBimtalk 19:48, 12 August 2026 (UTC)

Widgery Tribunal
[edit]Hi, thanks for your work on this but I cannot agree it is only a C-class article. Did you not see the comment 'Nice work' by the person who reviewed my almost brand-new article from the longstanding link to Lord Widgery? Regards Billsmith60 (talk) 10:11, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- For Widgery Tribunal article, I added B-class article checklist. Cheers, JoeNMLC (talk) 15:04, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
Citing titles
[edit]Once again, please stop adding a citation to the title of the article. This is not an appropriate placement and there are multiple issues with this. Please stop ignoring all the suggestions that have been put here and on the drive review page. Thank you. JTtheOG (talk) 19:51, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- @JTtheOG, Sorry I missed that. For example, I just updated Samar National School, so should I go back & move reference out of lead section & into content? It seems to be a good cite. Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 19:59, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- It could very well be a good reference, but other users agreed here that this is not a good practice. You're not actually verifying anything of substance when you "verify" a title. For example, it's possible that there is another school in another country with the same name. You could be citing a source discussing a completely different subject in a different country, but you wouldn't know it because the only thing your source verifies is that there is something out there with that name, not necessarily confirming it's the same thing.
- @Local Internet User: and I alluded to similar problems above, where you were verifying the mere existence of the HRE without actually verifying any claims or statements in the article, or in 2009 national road cycling championships, where your source didn't actually verify that Zhupa was the national champion, but instead that he merely existed.
- I hope this makes sense. I understand it's a bit abstract, so please let me know if you have any questions. Also, make sure you are able to actually access and read a source to verify the information instead of simply copying one over from another article. Thanks! JTtheOG (talk) 20:11, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- @JTtheOG, Thanks for helping me "get my ducks in a row". I did add a reference at article Vincentian Studies Institute that verifies 1979 founding. Before proceeding, I'm wondering if that is still a secondary source (the University vs. the Institute)? Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 23:38, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, that looks good. It is still a primary source, since it's directly affiliated with the university, but primary sources are allowed to cite straightforward facts such as this one. JTtheOG (talk) 23:42, 20 August 2026 (UTC)
- @JTtheOG; Starting late(r) last night & just now, I finished fixing the "Title cite" articles not yet Reverted (to Aug. 17th). Wondering if I should go back to the Reverted & Undo those articles so they can be updated correctly? Just don't know if worth the effort? JoeNMLC (talk) 14:55, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
- I’m not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean undo my reverts? JTtheOG (talk) 19:04, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
- @JTtheOG, yes. To revert, so that I can go back in & move those title cites elsewhere, or replace with better cite. Now that I understand my mistakes, I have corrected about half of the recent articles (ones not yet reverted). Should I take the time with the remaining articles? Not sure how to proceed and asking for advice. JoeNMLC (talk) 19:15, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
- That’s a good idea, but I don’t see why you’d have to revert my revert. You can just add a new source (or the same one as before if you find a good place to put it). You will be able to find your old source in the page histories. Do you know how to do that? JTtheOG (talk) 19:19, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
- @JTtheOG, yes. I've been going back via. History "Older 50" and browser search for "Add cite" from Edit summary. So easy to find & should be able to locate most. Thanks for your help. Cheers, JoeNMLC (talk) 19:24, 21 August 2026 (UTC)

Regarding “The Return To Zork”
[edit]You do realize that "William David Volk" was the designer of the MADE engine that this game ran on as well as a co-designer of the Ui
This includes the video, image, and audio systems.
He was deleted from Wikipedia partly because he directed a non crypto game based on the SHIB character from 2021 to 2023.
Given the games he's designed it seems vindictive. VideoGameVet (talk) 03:52, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
- @VideoGameVet - I am confused about above message. Viewing the article's History, my only contribution to Return to Zork was in 2023 here, adding a wikilink. Also this topic is totally out of my wheelhouse. Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 12:41, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
