For example, on 2009 national road cycling championships, attaching a source to a name, such as you did to Eugert Zhupa, would mean that the source verifies that he was the 2009 Albanian national champion, because that's the context that his name appears in. However, the source you added simply verifies his existence, as you said above, and makes no mention of his 2009 title win (that I was able to see). Also, I don't believe you should be copying sources over from another article if you haven't actually accessed and read the source to verify the claim being made. I noticed you've made several edits where you copy over an incomplete reference and give only a surname and a page number, such as 1 and 2, or other instances where you copy over refs with dead URLs. I do have the CiteHighlighter which makes it easier to choose better sources. Unfortunately, it does not indicate for "Dead links" that would be helpful. I've also learned about "Skip/Next" for poorly sourced and un-sourced articles. Just not worth the time for those although I do have several favorite WPs where I can "dig deeper" to improve. You can see my reviews here. For example, in Momoyamadai Station, you've linked to a reference that, as far as I can tell, doesn't contain "Momoyamadai" or "桃山台駅" or "桃山台" anywhere in the reference. Establishing that the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway line exists isn't relevant to the Momoyamadai Station article unless the reference establishes that the station is part of that railway. As an (absurd) example of how this could go wrong, if someone added "Momoyadamai Station is located on Saturn[1]" to the article, and that citation was a NASA story about Saturn, that wouldn't be a good reference, since it reinforces a made-up claim. I think that's the sort of problem JT was bringing up with the 2009 cycling championship / Eugert Zhupa example. I also noticed that this morning with a series of edits you did on lists of states in the HRE (e.g., List of states in the Holy Roman Empire (Z)). I think anyone clicking on that article would already know that the HRE existed, so I think it's probably better to leave this as an "unreferenced" article and wait for someone who has the time to find reference(s) that are relevant to at least one of the Z states. Citing titles

Once again, please stop adding a citation to the title of the article. This is not an appropriate placement and there are multiple issues with this. Please stop ignoring all the suggestions that have been put here and on the drive review page. Thank you. JTtheOG (talk) 19:51, 20 August 2026 (UTC)

It could very well be a good reference, but other users agreed here that this is not a good practice. You're not actually verifying anything of substance when you "verify" a title. For example, it's possible that there is another school in another country with the same name. You could be citing a source discussing a completely different subject in a different country, but you wouldn't know it because the only thing your source verifies is that there is something out there with that name, not necessarily confirming it's the same thing.

@Local Internet User: and I alluded to similar problems above, where you were verifying the mere existence of the HRE without actually verifying any claims or statements in the article, or in 2009 national road cycling championships, where your source didn't actually verify that Zhupa was the national champion, but instead that he merely existed.

I hope this makes sense. I understand it's a bit abstract, so please let me know if you have any questions. Also, make sure you are able to actually access and read a source to verify the information instead of simply copying one over from another article. Thanks! Now that I understand my mistakes, I have corrected about half of the recent articles (ones not yet reverted). Should I take the time with the remaining articles? That’s a good idea, but I don’t see why you’d have to revert my revert. You can just add a new source (or the same one as before if you find a good place to put it). New pages patrol September 2026 Backlog drive

September 2026 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol
On 1 September 2026, a one-month backlog drive for new pages patrol will begin at a particularly important time for NPP. The backlog has now passed 30,000 unreviewed articles, a level that has been described in current NPP discussions as exceptionally high and potentially difficult to overcome through normal reviewing alone. Backlog drives are one of the few measures that have historically produced a noticeable reduction in the backlog, so the participation of as many active patrollers as possible will matter this month. If you can review during September, please make articles your priority. Every article that is reviewed is a meaningful reduction in the backlog. With the queue at its current size, even a relatively small increase in the number of articles each patroller reviews can add up to a substantial difference over the course of the month. This is a hybrid drive, so redirect reviewing is still included. Redirects can be a useful way for newer patrollers to get comfortable with NPP and can help people build up to reviewing articles. However, the main goal of this drive is to tackle the article backlog, and experienced patrollers are particularly encouraged to spend as much of their available reviewing time on articles as they can. Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Each article review will earn 1 point, while each redirect review will earn 0.2 points. Streak awards will be given out based on consistently hitting point thresholds for each week of the drive. Barnstars will also be granted for re-reviewing articles previously reviewed by other patrollers during the drive. If you have been thinking about doing more NPP, this is an especially good month to jump in. Whether you can review a few pages or hundreds, every review helps. Regarding “The Return To Zork”

You do realize that "William David Volk" was the designer of the MADE engine that this game ran on as well as a co-designer of the Ui

This includes the video, image, and audio systems.

He was deleted from Wikipedia partly because he directed a non crypto game based on the SHIB character from 2021 to 2023.
