Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Anna Gurney when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

DYK for Lucy Clark
[edit]On 28 July 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lucy Clark, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Guinness World Records recognises the founder of TRUK United F.C. as the world's first openly transgender football referee? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lucy Clark. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (Lucy Clark), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Organized Labour September Editing Event
[edit]
You're invited to join the Organized Labour community editing event, a cross-wiki event taking place throughout September 2026!
The campaign brings together Wikimedians interested in improving coverage of organised labour, workers, trade unions, and labour history. We have confirmed collaborations with Wikipedia language editions in English, Dutch, Persian, Serbo-Croatian and French. If you want to add other language editions or other wiki projects you are strongly encouraged to do so! This event spans geography and languages!
This is a one-time invitation. You're receiving it because you previously signed a petition related to Wiki Workers United (WWU). We hope you'll join us!

Thank you for creating Cornell University pumpkin prank. I just nominated it as a Good Article. I'm hoping to have a DYK for it on the front page for Halloween. Best, Thriley (talk) 15:01, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
- Oh, great! I struggle to figure out what articles I've created are good candidates for good articles so thank you for the help! Just to let you know, the subtopic parameter on the nomination template hasn't been filled in so you may want to do that! I'm not sure if I'm allowed to.
