This is a minimalist version of {{Talk quote block}}, used for quoting others on talk pages. This template is useful for quoting, without placing any emphasis or highlighting on the comment, as {{Talk quote block}} and {{Talk quote inline}} do.
Usage

Though a block element is rendered, this template behaves like an inline element in wikitext. This template can be intuitively used even after colon indentations, and even multiple times in a single line of wikitext.

gives practically the same output as:

Attribution
By design, this template doesn't support any parameters other than a single unnamed parameter for the quoted text. If you need to mention the editor's name in the quotation, you can simply put it at the end of the message, as in:
