He played college basketball for the Cornell Big Red and Vanderbilt Commodores.
Early life and high school career
[edit]Mañon was born on December 9, 2001, in New Milford, New Jersey, and is of Dominican descent.[1][2] He attended Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, where he was named first-team all-league, all-county and all-region as a senior, when he averaged 12.4 points per game.[3] He transferred to St. Thomas School for the 2019–20 season, where he was selected second-team All-New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC).[4] After high school, he committed to playing college basketball for Cornell.[3]
College career

Professional career
[edit]Mañon played with the Golden State Warriors during the 2025 NBA Summer League.[7][8] He was the team's leading scorer with 55 points and was also their leader in rebounds per game (5.2) and blocked shots (8).[9] He scored 17 points in his last game and averaged 11 points with the Warriors.[9] Afterwards, Mañon signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on July 24, 2025.[10][11] He made nine total appearances for the Lakers in the 2025–26 season, averaging 0.8 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.3 assists.[12]
On July 3, 2026, Mañon re–signed with Los Angeles on a two–way contract.[13]
