9. And how? I've always liked Elvis. My dad has always been an Elvis fan, so you can say I sorta grew up with The King, but it wasn't untill about a year ago that I realized he was simply the best :) ..

7. Why? I think he was so cute back then when he was just getting started -- his looks, mannerisms, just everything. But I have to admit I liked his songs better in the later years.
8. When did you first become a fan? I'm a newbie. A few months ago.
9. And how? . . . I watched Walk the Line. Weird, I know. But my mom was/is a huge Elvis fan, so it made me ask a bunch of questions about him and then I got all curious. Plus I bought her the Elvis hits CD for Easter . . . and I listen to it as much as she does. Lol.
Also, I have few questions for y`all.
Does anyone know where I can find good pictures of:
1. Pics from the concert Elvis did in Tupelo, MS
2. Pics from Elvis' Aloha in Hawaii concert
3. Pictures, stills, or caps from Jailhouse Rock and/or Love Me Tender

9. And how? My grandmother basically raised me on Elvis music, she loved him, and after she died, it became a way for me to cope with losing her...

5. Favorite movie: I don't really have a favorite since I haven't watched one in years, and can only vaguely remember the ones that I did watch...so yeah. But Jailhouse Rock looks like a pretty cool movie =)

7. Why? Because of the '68 comeback
8. When did you first become a fan? I've only been a real fan since this summer when I went to Graceland, but I've been listening to Elvis music and thought it was pretty cool pretty much ever since I was born, since my mom is a HUGE Elvis fan.
9. And how? I went to Graceland, and learned more about Elvis, the person, and thought he was great (which my mom had been trying to tell me for the past 14 years lol) and, uh...became a fan =)

Well, I was thinking about the Elvis altars that girls would make next to their Jesus altars around the 1950's, and I quickly threw together a little something. Of course, I'll work on it more later. I'm posting to find out if any of you girls have made similiar altars (it's a lot of fun, actually), and whether or not any of guys had pictures. What I've done so far is under the cut:

1. When Did You First Become an Elvis Fan?: ever since i was a little baby. my dad used to play his music to me as a newborn...and supposedly he played it to my moms belly when she was pregnant with me.
