The Electric Maid is a DIY community livingroom which is organized and maintained by volunteers. Located at at 268 Carroll St NW Takoma DC, we are just steps away from the Takoma Metro Station. We host performances on Friday and Saturday nights, where we ask for a $5 or $7 donation which helps to cover the cost of maintaining the space, and in the case of $7 shows, to share the proceeds with the bands. We are always open to new ideas about how we can use this space. To book a band or schedule an event, come to one of our regularly scheduled Wednesday meetings at 8 o'clock.
