Fandom: Torchwood
Title: Counting Clouds 1/17
Author: soera
Rating: NC-17 later on.
Pairing(s): Jack/Ianto with mentions of other canon relationships.
Author's Summary: ...was fricking enormous so here's my version. A behind-the-scenes look at Ianto Jone's life in Torchwood, Every moment off camera in stunning detail. WIP.
Why I recommend it: It's so incredibly well written and covers everything I wish the show had bothered to mention. Plus, I read 6 (long) chapters without once losing interest, that's quite rare for me!

(Author is very kind and puts links to the following chapter at the bottom of each chapter!)

Title: James Bond Eat Your Heart Out

Rating: NC-17 later on.
Pairing(s): Merlin/Arthur
Author's Summary: AU, loosely based on movie Debs. Arthur is the top student at spy school and Merlin is a notorious evil genius. However rivalry isn't the only thing these two boys are feeling, can Arthur resist Merlin or will he forsake his friends and his country?
Why I recommend it: It's fun and keeps you interested. It's fast and hot and brilliant, with Arthur's doubts and guilt, I love it!

Fandom Harry Potter
Title: Raspberry Jam
Author: vvc
Rating: PG-13 (Teen on FF.net)
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco
Warnings: Slash (if that could be called warning)
Author's Summary: Draco tries not to think of his upcoming transition and the unwanted partner chosen for him by his father. Then he finds he may have a choice after all. Will the faith he puts into his choice be rewarded? HPDM A slow, soft romance.
Why I recommend it: It's really a rather sweet story at times, and I love vvc's Harry, who's much more Slytherin and in control in this story. It's definitely one of my favorite stories of this fandom.

This is the Rec Room, where you recommend your favourite stories for others to enjoy and to share the love!

Though it's a closed membership, we're (meaning me, draig_glas and merlinsgeekyfan) almost certain to add you.

At the moment the main fandoms we're reccing for are Merlin, Harry Potter, Torchwood/Doctor Who, Scrubs and to some extent, National Treasure. We ask that all who want to join follow the rules and stick to these fandoms (though we may expand, depending on popularity.)

We'll accept any stories from these fandoms, from any website as long as the website's safe. Though, if you don't like it, don't rec it, and please don't rec the same stories, we'd like fresh recs, and not for everyone to recommend the same story a thousand times.

We also ask that you make sure you label your recs clearly, please don't self-rec, and don't post off topic (that means post recs only). Also, post multiple rec separately.

When posting, please use the following layout (or a close variation thereof):

Fandom:
Title:
Author:
Rating:
Warnings:
Author's Summary:
Why I recommend it:

Though, if you don't know any bits of info (like the warnings) we won't shoot you if you don't put them in, though you have to make sure that the title, author's name and a link to the story is there. Though, we also request that if you know any pairings (particularly the main ones) that you add it to the fic info, either in the summary or a new pairing column.

Also, please use the relevant tags (i.e. fandom, rating, media, status and whether the fic contains slash or het).

That's it really. Enjoy the recs!
