This is a comm for stout-hearted fans who are making the noble effort to produce one due South or six-degrees bit of creativity every day in April! Could be fics, meta, rec lists, podfic, icons, vids, banners, photoshopping, fanmixes... Could be an art form that hasn't occurred to me yet, who knows!
Basically, all there is to it is to create a Due South or C6D SOMETHING every day in April -- as short/long or complicated/simple as you like -- using the prompt table. You can do the prompts in any order.
Post the table to your journal, and add the links as you go! Then, when you post your fanworks you can link to it from this community, and
ds_noticeboard and wherever else you'd like.
C6D stands for Canadian 6 Degrees. Loosely defined, this is a large group of related fandoms that have some connection to the television show due South. This encompasses fandoms that are "six-degree-ish" of a small set of (mostly) Canadian artists, including Paul Gross, David Marciano, Callum Keith Rennie, Hugh Dillon, Don McKeller, Bruce McDonald, and Daniel MacIvor. Real-person fic is fine too; crossovers are welcome as long as one of the things crossed meets the criteria.
Don't be afraid to give it a shot because you think you might not make it all the way to 30. There will be no floggings--any level of participation is welcomed; nay, squeed over! Come on! It will be fun! It's a good way to be creative every single day, and to give fans Due South-related shinies to look at every day too.
