Am slightly embarrassed because I still haven't done my recs list for hd_worldcup. I suppose that will just be another post on its own. Also, I am still working my way through Big Bang III, but the fics I've read thus far have been excellent. After almost 5 years of reading, I am thrilled that I can still unearth unread classics and that the quality of new fanfiction is even better than ever. I'm so proud to be a member of this fandom.

son_of_darkness is writing The Comprehension Series, an Albus Severus/Scorpius fic in which they are both in Slytherin. He's "not really posting chapters, per se, more a series of vignettes... glimpses into the characters lives..." There are already 26 vignettes, with frequent updates.

jamie2109 is writing Did You Think I Would Leave You?, an AS/S fic in which they are not sorted in the same house, but instead are a part of a small group of friends that are all of different houses and that all hang out together. It's such a great ensemble cast, so creative!

the_ass_fest is posting [omg the name of the comm is too ridiculous for words] which is exciting for all the AS/S fans out there! [y'know... like me :P]

snegurochka_lee wrote a mindfuck of a fic entitled Counting Shadows in the Dead of Night. It's definitely kind of dark, and not a pairing I go out of my way to read, but I think it's worth the effort.

And finally, if you read nothing else on this list, please read sam_storyteller's Stealing Harry-verse. It's quite old, quite long, and quite frankly one of the 3 best fics I've ever read. Ever. And it's Sirius/Remus. And it's AU. And it's my canon. Full stop.

I'm going to try to organize these into some semblance of order, so we'll see how this goes, mmkay?
