Idk how many people still use LJ but I figured I'd make a quick end of the year update in case anyone cares lol

- Moved from Asheville NC back to Savannah GA summer of 2017. I had a pretty shitty call center job for a few years that I got fired from cause they're dickheads but I just got an awesome job summer of 2019. I'm an Office Coordinator for a PT office here and I love my job. I've been there about 6 months now and can't imagine working elsewhere. Super lucky break I've been looking for a while. Honestly I want to go back to my old job and thank those bitches for firing me, lol.

- I started up pet sitting again summer of 2018 and I've been doing that part time and love it. I have a handful of great repeat clients and get new clients all the time. It's a great way of meeting people and making some extra cash.

- Still going to cons, but dialed it back a bit. This year I went to Momocon like I usually do, and I finally got to go to AWA for the first time in a few years. I don't have any plans of going to Katsucon any longer (all my friends who live up there moved away and it's too expensive) but I've been eyeing some other anime and furry cons for the future now that I have savings again. I do go to all the little local cons here, there's a couple of them that are pretty fun.

- I've been trying to draw more and I've gotten into a handful of zines this year so I'm pretty proud of that. I wish my drawing output was higher but it's so hard to juggle a full time and part time job and that haha.

- I've been going to the gym for 2 years now! I started winter 2017 and have been going since. My next goal is to do some strength training to get BUFF.

- My mom has been having some issues since summer 2018. Not going into details on here because it's pretty private but. Things are up and down there.

- My health overall has been pretty good. Since I moved to a warmer climate, my arthritis is much better. I haven't been getting sick as much as I usually did in Asheville. I finally got good health insurance and got established and some places here. My new rheumatologist is trying to get a new biologic approved so I can get back on that.  Otherwise just some colds here and there but nothing big.

- I turned 30 this year and that was definitely a thing. I was more hung up about it before my birthday but now I don't really give a shit. Lol.

- Since I have a nice new health plan I'm going to look into getting back into talk therapy. My bipolar has been pretty stable now that life's looking up but it'd be nice to have someone to talk to about all the other things.

I guess that's about it. I don't plan on going back to using LJ other than updating every few years so if you want to follow me elsewhere please do! Just let me know who you are.  I'm billciipher on tumblr and shigeokageyamas on twitter and I'm active on both.
