Hi yall!! I just wanted to leave a post saying hello. My name is Shanna and I am a member of the Delta Epsilon chapter at the University of North Texas. Hey Hey deltasigs!!! I was wondering if anyone had any good recruitment Tshirt ideas??? My chapter is really stumped, we don't know what to do... I've been searching for ideas that other frats/sororities have used, and the only one I like so far is a shirt that says on the back... "In life there are leaders and followers.. Take Note: You are reading the back of my shirt.. Pledge Delta Sigma Pi" I also saw another shirt that a deltasig chapter had made, it was homer simpson w/ a mullet, and it said... Mmmmm Mullet.. and then.. Delta Sigma Pi, business in the front, party in the back... that cracked me up... but... I dont think I want to wear a shirt like that!!... sooo if anyone has any good ideas let me know!!!! Thanks! |

Tonight was senior goodbyes in our chapter. Basically, for those who dont do it, when we pass the gavel at the end of chapter, we each take a moment to say goodbye to those who are graduating. Tonight was SO hard. I cried like a little baby. I just checked my email and our out-going president sent this, apparently it was first sent in 1999 by a senior. Just thought I would share! Brotherhood is trying to speak tonight, and not knowing where to start. Brotherhood is not able to look in someone's eyes to tell them how much they mean to you for fear of tears. Brotherhood is getting choked up when two other people say good-bye. Brotherhood is being happy because others are-whether you made them that why or not. Finally, Brotherhood is not being able to express in words about certain people that hold such a strong place in your heart. Current Mood:  sad |
