Are you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community.

| Muertos 2010 ... |
[18 Oct 2010|03:10pm] |
[from Gallery ChimMaya's site]:
Dia de los Muertos
What began as a cultural curiosity, has now grown to become a
'significant' yearly celebration of communities throughout the
world, and is celebrated in one form or another around the globe.
'Muertos 2010'....this year's annual DOD group exhibition, will feature
artists from California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Illinois.
Along with our resident artists and gallery favorites...we're pleased to
include the work from several new artists to our gallery. ( Read more...Collapse )

My boyfriend and I are going to Tuscon for the day of the dead parade and big ceremony thingie they're throwing on Sunday, November 7. There is also plenty of other stuff going on before and around that day.
Under the cut is an image of their ceremonial ( prayer formCollapse ) you know, if you'd like to steal this idea for your own delosmuertos/equinox/fire pit ritual with your friends. :)

Hello all! I was wondering - does anyone have any book recommendations, specifically books with lots of photos/imagery of Day of the Dead? I'd love to add some inspiration to my library. Thanks for your thoughts!! :)
