So, I finally managed to find time to whip up a few things (those will be posted this weekend) but starting today my free time for the rest of the week (and more) are going to be snatched by the time munchers.
Since this week is the week where Mom and I will be doing nothing but getting to the theatre way before call time to set up and staying way after everyone else to clean up (she is the stage make-up and hair head for the show). To add to our already crammed day, my cat decided to have her kittens Monday morning! :D
So I went from 3 cats to 9 all in one night.
Now only to find homes for them in May...

I'm trying to get my mom to at least watch Harry Potter now but that's not working. At least she "read" the first one but whenever I mention either watching or "reading" #2 she grabs the cat and beads. Hah... This'll take a while.
Um, No theme for April, sorry guys. Once the show is over we'll (once again) start that back up again. And then I'll start posting more projects... :)
Who can believe that it's already Mid-March... Heeeeeloooo, where did January go?!

We're wrapping up everything for our show so the only time I've had to bead is during our rare breaks at rehersal...

Anybody want a kitten? JK. We have a kitten living in our backyard that was dumped here. We're calling her Emmy (derived from Minvera McGonagall) for now and we're still lacking a home for her. We can't keep her because the Mascot would freak... and sit on her... Poor thing...

Woah. It's been ages... kinda
TAKE CAUTION WHEN MAKING BALES!!! So here I am at Melissa's house sitting in front of the table thinking "Hm... What should I make? Bale earings? Bale earing will be cute... I'll make bale earings!" So I did...
I have my wire, the drops, etc set up, start making the bale and... *builds up the suspence* The crystal decides to crack on me and bits of it go flying...
Ten minutes later I realize a chunk the size of a 11/O seed bead is in my eye...

Can you guys believe it's Feb. already?!?! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! WHERE HAS ALL THIS TIME GONE?!
Thank Gawd it's a three day weekend! Beading time!!! And maybe time with Melissa! But we'll see...
What do you guys think about the casting for OOTP? I love the girl who was casted for Tonks from About A Boy. That is one of my favourite books/movies and I think she played that part well. We'll have to see how she does here.
Now... for Death Beaders T SHIRTS?!
Melissa, Mom and I are screaning T-Shirts at Cafe Press to wear to Lumos. Would anyone be interested in one? I just want some feed back to see if people would like them. Pictures will be up eventually (along with the pictures I've been promising... lol)

One day= really sad
Next few days= depressing

One a more beadery note, what do you guys think of contests anyway... If people want to continue the Horcrux one we can, or we can do something more for the holidays. Hey everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been updateing, It's been so busy. I have projects made I just need to take pictures and upload them.
Also, if there are things you would like to know about Vegas like questions about the town, what else there is to do here, bead stores or maybe even pictures and info on the hotel and other places. I'd be more than happy to answer them since I'm here.

My mom and I went to Nordstrom today to get a gift certificate for my aunt and thought we would stop by the Jewlery Counter to get inspiration for the show... Harmless idea right?
Well, Not exactly for the people who worked there...
We were looking around at the swarovski stuff and found the EXACT same bracelet that we made for our store for about $50 selling for $225... 225?!?!? Jeez... We started talking to the woman that worked there because she was wondering why we were so shocked about jewlery and we told her that we knew how to bead and we were just stunned that something that we had made was so expencive. She was stunned that we knew how to bead... lol
The other woman seemed pretty annoyed and I don't blame her.
I'll post a picture of the bracelet we made that they were selling there. And a few others that we found too, but that one was the biggest shock.

Here I am on vacation and all I can think about are you guys! (awww... lol) Anyway, I thought I'd wish everyone a Happy New Year (and of course I miss out seeing all the hotels' fireworks from my backyard to come to CA)
The plus of coming here? My two fav. bead stores (because, no offense, but Vegas doesn't really have any cool bead stores...)
And as a random piece of usless information, David's wife on Season One of 24 is a totall biotch... thought I'd share :)
