Are you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community.

Nov. 1st, 2014 @ 12:46 am The Calling: Happy Halloween! (Goth/Industrial/EBM night)
Get ready for tonight! Ghouls and ghosts unite for a Saturday night fright!

The Calling clubnight is taking place on Station Road in Cambridge - 9pm - 2am, providing you with a great night of the best goth, ebm and industrial tune to stomp / sway to!

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged, and get a discounted entry in exchange! As for me, I'm armed with ghoulish shots and sweets a-plenty..

Other than that, prices are the same as ever - £4 all night. £3 concessions - this means Rocksoc members, students, etc.

Your spooky DJs twill be Cassiel and Naranek :o) Get ready for a fun-filled night of spooky mystery - and spread the word!

Jan. 4th, 2011 @ 08:47 pm Connexion Bizarre update 20110103
Current Music: Various "Stählerne Lichter"
During the past week, Connexion Bizarre was updated with a new podcast and a review. Definitely a slow week but with seasonal festivities and the new year celebrations we might have been somewhat distracted.

If you haven't done so last week, you might like to check out our staff's selection of releases worthy of note in 2010. A wide variety of names (some of them relatively well-known) proving that tastes are eclectic and that there is still really a lot of good stuff out there to be discovered. View the lists here.

Also, this year we tried to be play pre-cog and place some bets on some stuff to watch out for in 2011 - subject to our staff's taste and inclinations but you can check our thoughts on coming festivals, releases, labels and tendencies: Bang Face, Bloc, Milhde Festa, Resistanz, Chrysalide, Signifier and Cassette Sub-Cultures... Read it here.
