No squibbing just to squib

Once you have submitted an application you have "seen" magic - and will be unable to join Club Hogwarts unsorted as a member of clubmuggle

New Applicants

Copy the text below and fill out your application using as much detail as you can. The more detail you give, the less likely you will receive a Squib vote.

Please do not push for a specific house - people who push risk being labeled a Squib.

Changes to the initial application after it has posted will not be accepted. However, additions for more detail or clarity can be made at the bottom of your application if clearly marked. Please be sure that any additions are made within the LJ-Cut.

Please do not alter font type, size or color on the application or you will be Squibbed.

If you are stamped Squib for any reason you will be able to join this community as part of clubsquib. If you are unhappy with your sorting designation, please see the section "Appeals" below.

Note: Applications will be released from the queue in the order they are received and only five per day. Generally, applications will be stamped on the sixth day from when they are posted.

Appeals

Squib Appeals

If you are sorted as a Squib and wish to appeal, please see the below Squib Appeal Application. You may appeal only once, and this application will be posted as it is received without waiting in the queue.

Squib Appeal Application:

Do not use the words: Snarky, Cunning, Ambitious, Loyal, Brave, Intelligent, hard-working, just. If there are any questions from your initial application you want to expand on, please do so here. Do not expand on more than 2 questions. </lj-cut>

If at the end of your six (6) days of appeal you are again stamped Squib, you are welcome to remain in Club Hogwarts as a member of Club Squib with all the rights and privileges all Club Hogwarts members receive.

Please make certain your subject line for the Squib Appeal Application reads: "Once More With Feeling!"

Other Appeals

If you are appealing from a house other than Squib you must wait ONE (1) month from being stamped before you may submit your appeal. During this time we suggest you try to get to know your current housemates and see if you might not be content there.

You will only receive the one appeal and it is not guaranteed you will be placed in the house of your choice.
