I am trying to get someone to take over my lease before the end April. The address is 2239 Cromwell Cir. 78741
It's a 1 bdrm 1 bath, 728 square feet. 2nd floor. W/D connections. You can see the layout if you Select the 728sq ft layout via The Landry Place apartments website. The apartment normally runs for $625 a month, however, the complex will let you keep the rate of $500 a month. Lease will expire on August 1st at that time you can re-sign if desired.
If you are interested, please respond via Posting or Email at kattzco at yahoo.

| Selling Books |
[06 Jul 2005|04:01pm] |
At SAC, there are bulletin boards everywhere and that is where people put up ads and stuff. I know you have to get the papers approved, but where?. I have a lot of books from my 1st year at college and I want to get them out of my room and sell them for a decent price *for those of you who don't want to get screwed over by L&M*! <3 If anyone could let me know, that would be great! If any of you all are interested in what books I am going to be selling e-mail me: missangel1117@hotmail.com or post a comment.

As far as financial AID goes, I've accepted my grants. I filled out the paperwork for the subsidized loan. I was offered an amount. They told me I have to just wait for the "master check" or something. Do I need to get on their case about the "master check" or whatever? They said it takes like up to 8 weeks to process or something. What should I do now regarding the student loan? Should I just wait to recieve the "master check" ?
I've picked my classes already.
BASIC MATHEMATICS HATCH, MICHAEL A. MWF 09:00-09:50AM
FRESH COMP BADRICH, STEPHEN MWF 10:00-10:50PM
GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY ROSE, BILLY B. MWF 11:00-11:50AM
ETHICS-WI COX, RONALD R. MWF 12:00-12:50PM
BEG FITNESS YOGA SIMPSON, GEORGE ANN MW 02:25-03:40PM
What do you guys think of the teachers I picked for my classes?
All the student requirements were recieved. I have no holds, other than orientation, which doesn't really hold me from anything right now.
How do they give you your grants/loans? Do they send you the leftover in installments? If so, how often?
Any information regarding grants/loans would be appreciated!
I'm taking orientation this month. July 23rd & 30th from 8am-5pm. w0ot.

Join commcolleges! |
[25 Jun 2005|09:18pm] |
I'm trying to unite community college students across the country in one community so we can share advice, give support, and talk about community colleges in general. Please join commcolleges if you'd like!
(My apologies if this is not permitted. Since it's so related to the community's topic, I figured it would be fine.)

Hey, I'm Megan, 20. I've been attending SAC for a little over a year. Dropped out for a while, but returned last semester. I'm currently undecided on my major, but am leaning towards mortuary science.
It is so awesome to find this community!

| KSYM needs DJ's |
[22 Jan 2005|05:27pm] |
Howdy Folks :) Just thought I'd introduce myself real quick before I continue on about the subject title. My name is Jesse Hernandez and am currently a full time student at SAC. This is only my second semester at SAC, my major is Radio/TV Production (BTW, the new RTF building is real nice) anywho, on with the post: KSYM is currently shopping for alternative dj's. Submit air-check tapes or cd's to Bob or Adam in the KSYM office. You must have taken and passed Audio Production I & II. It helps if you've had a triple A shift in the past over the breaks but is not necessary. In exchange you will be asked to volunteer to KSYM for at least 10 hours a week. Volunteer status includes music screening, station promotion, audio spot talent, and production. If you don't have an aircheck tape try to think of a creative way to sell yourself. We're looking for someone with on air personality potential. Good Luck!
Obviously I had some free time on my hands to forward this :)
