11:19 pm - Selling stuff
|

caheisey
|
So, I realize that I'm a bit past the season for moves and housewares, but here's some stuff I'm trying to sell:
( housewares, electronic-y things, and so on...Collapse ) Unless noted otherwise, they pretty much all smell like a couple months in storage and some Lysol wipes. And everything is definitely "or best offer," so let me know if you want to take a look at anything. Most of these things are in a storage unit on the East Side, some are in my apartment off of West 2nd, or I could pretty much deliver any of them.

I am willing to travel to your residence or host others in mine. Rates are negotiable; I understand that money is tight for nearly everyone. *No, not like that. Pervs.
ME: An honest, eager-to-work local looking to find work. I would prefer monetary payment but am also willing to barter for groceries and the like. I am willing to do most anything a person needs done. Specific examples include:
*Petsitting, including feeding, walking, administering medicine, showering with affection, etc. *Babysitting; I absolutely love children and babies, and will take excellent care of them. *Housecleaning, although you would need to provide the cleaning materials. *Gardening and landscaping. *Moving, packing and unpacking. You need help moving in or out? Shoot me a note. *Painting, drywall, and/or other minor repairs. Your materials required. *Serving as a model for artwork. Clothed preferred, but will do nudes for extra. *Housesitting. If you need someone to watch your place, I'm your person.
If you need someone for these or any other legal tasks, email me at leananaquarius(at)gmail.com with Bloomington in the subject line. Thank you. :)

We are just looking for friendly people to work inside of a large retail store 2 weekends a month. This promotion is going on June through Novemeber. You do not have to work every month, but we would love to work with you for as many as possible! You will be chatting with shoppers about products and handing out free samples, very easy stuff! The pay is $12/hr.
I only have dates this far for June and July: June 13-14 & June 20-21 July 11-12, 18-19 Times for saturdays are from 10:30am-3:15pm and sundays from 11:30-4:15pm
In order to share detailed event information with you and add you to the roster, please visit www.atnpromo.com and create a profile with us. You can create a profile by clicking "Join our team" in the upper right hand corner. Doing this is absolutely and always free, we keep your information private, and we do not send you soliciting e-mails. By registering you are simply becoming a part of our database of potential event staff, and we are then able to share detailed event info with you.
Even if you are not available for June, please go ahead and make a profile so that we may work with you in the future.
I'm very anxious to finalize the roster for this event, so please e-mail me back ASAP once your profile is complete so I can e-mail you all of the details (the company you will be representing, exact location, attire, etc), as this event is right around the corner.
Thanks and I look forward to working with you!

8:00 pm - Teak queen-size platform bed + 2 nightstands
|

lucimama
|
Modern style ... low, simple headboard and clean lines. Most of it is solid teak, except for parts that don't show, like the slats and support that holds up your mattress. No mattress included. The headboard only sticks up maybe 6" above where the top of your pillow would be, and is essentially a big box that's about 6" deep so you could put your clock or lamp or phone on it if you wanted ... but then there are also two matching nightstands iincluded: nice large-ish ones with a single drawer but a large shelf above it and a small shelf below. Each big enough for a lamp, an alarm clock, a phone, a stack of books and magazines and more hotwheels cars than you'd really rather prefer to have right next to your bed.
I wish I'd thought to take photos before we took the bed apart, but I wasn't smart enough to do that. It's something of a puzzle, putting the bed together (the nightstands are ready to go), but it's that good Scandinavian Design stuff, well-designed and solid.
They're not in perfect condition, but damned good. My husband just wants them outta the garage and would probably almost pay someone to take them, but I'd like us to get *something* for them, because they're good solid pieces of furniture, and teak ain't cheap.
Available for pickup on the southeast corner of Bloomington: you bring a truck (or van or SUV or whatever) and I'll help you load it up. None of the pieces are too heavy for two reasonably strong-backed adults.
So make me an offer, or whatever. lucimama at gmail dot com.

Hello! I'm helping my mom sublease an apartment in Charleston,IL and just want to know if you know if anyone would be interested in it. I've post on the EIU community LJ but was unable to find any other community to post to for this. This being Indiana focused and Illinois being next door I thought this would help. If you know of any other places that would help I'd be very grateful. Thank so very much for your time, Sylvia

11:45 am - Teach Asia
|

darkhill
|
ESL Teach Asia, No EXP Needed, up to $3K/month + Airfare + Rent (Seoul, Korea)
Experience of a lifetime,
There are several different options for travelling abroad and teaching English. This is a phenomenal way to save money up to $15,000 in one year and explore a new country. I have lived in Korea for several years teaching English and can help you explore your options. I am currently an independent consultant partnering with ESLPIA (www.eslpia.com).
This is one of the most amazing opportunities to challenge yourself, make lifelong friends, and save significant amounts of income. I would be happy to share my experience and assist you in determining if this is something you would like to do. Korean schools pay for your airfare, rent, and pay you a competitive salary for working 25-30hrs a week. But it is important that you choose the right school and understand the process well.
In order to qualify as an ESL instructor in Korea, you must hold a passport and be a citizen of Australia, Canada, Ireland, Korea, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, or USA. In addition, the instructor must have graduated from a 4-year undergraduate program with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in hand from a recognized university or college and sealed transcripts.
If you think traveling Asia while earning a competitive income, please read this online brochure:
http://www.brunohill.com/downloads/ESLPia_Job_Manual.pdf
Please email me to ask question or learn more about getting started.
