10:53 pm - Ephemeral Mists "Moon Ritual"
|

Ephemeral Mists is a new musical project by composer Brett Branning (also the composer for The synthetic dream foundation & Abandoned Toys). "Moon Ritual" is the debut cd, out now on Mythical records.
The sound of the project is best described as downtempo ambient new age music mixed with ethnic world musics in the vein of "Karma" era Delerium, Enya, Amethystium, and Steve Roach. Its really a very intoxicatingly beautiful creation and I sincerely recommend it to anyone into newage music styles. I'm looking forward to further releases by this project.

I've just been watching some of Enya's video clips while lying in bed next to my 10 week (ish) old daughter, Charlotte. She just had big smiles when we were watching the film clip to "The Celts" .
Life really does not get better than this.

Hi, I just joined this community today. I first discovered Enya back around 1991 or so when I heard Caribbean Blue, which continues to be my favorite song of hers! That got the ball rolling for my getting into music of this particular genre, such as Clannad, Moya Brennan, Adiemus, etc.

OK, so I know i just posted and forgive me - I'm honestly not usually a post-whore. There is an issue that has been burning within me for months now and here seems like a good place to vent. There was a newspaper article in the UK relating the following story - That a burgler had broken into Enya's small castle in Ireland (yes, there are a lot of castles in Ieland), burgled her AND (GET THIS) - Tied up her maid!!
The fact that someone could "tie up Enya's maid" just made me so sad.
Sorry if any of that was inapropriate posting - I'm a little new to this.

Hi, I've not posted here before and am thrilled to find that others appreciate Enya as much as I do. I am of Celtic descent and my music taste reflects this, - I'm actually English with Irish and Welsh blood. I've LOVED enya for 12 years and her music takes me to many emotonal places - happy, sad, peaceful, hopeful, calm - everything. Anyway, hope you don't mind a fellow fan dropping in and declaring that it makes me happy to have found some like-minded LJ people.

7:27 pm - Sounds of the Season, new songs

Hello everyone, I have a favour to ask.
Could anyone please, pretty please upload the four new tracks from the Sounds of the Season EP?
A YSI upload would be perfect, but you could also send them to my email address, echo.with.laughter(at)gmail(dot)com
I know it might be considered wrong to ask, because the songs are commercially easily available. (Although I've read some American fans complaining about how hard it is to actually find a Target store that has them, and also that msot of the copies were bought up hastily, and are now being sold over eBay and other places for multiples of the original price.)
BUT I live in Europe, where it is, as of now, impossible to buy the record, otherwise I would buy it, of course. I am still a high school student and I cannot order online.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! Me and my fellow Hungarian fans are all but going crazy to hear the songs.

Hello everybody I've just found this community while looking for users interested in Enya. I also like Enigma, Suzanne Vega, Moya Brennan, eRa, Kate Bush, Libera, Blackmore's Night and so on. I'm pleased to join you and perhaps I'll share some icons with you. The first ones, made by me: you can check here. Take them all if you want.
