Battle for the Galaxy Tournamnet for BF2
Hey guys im new to this community. Id just like to share with you the information on a new star wars battlefront 2 online tournment. Im aware this is community is for the first game but humour me lol. If any of you are framiliar with Desert Combat for battlefield 1942 then you may have heard of 21st Century Warefare (21CW), this is run by the same guys. There are currently over 150 registered with two dedicated servers and a dedicated teamspeak server. If any of you crave the excitment of organsied 32v32 battles with planned tactics and communications then this is the place to be. We have two divisons, the Yavin 4 Detachment [Y4D] and the 10th Legion [10L]each with 3 infantry companys,an airforce and a special ops company. All of this is commanded by experienced tournament players. Bear in mind promotion is decided on hard work, particiation as well as obvious skill. Sequel to Battlefront On Its WayPosted By Tom on March 28, 2005 Maverick4101 writes in and tells us that the latest PC Gamer reveals that Battlefront 2 is in development. It will have space battles (Including Ep3’s space battle) where you can board, sabotage, and take control of certain parts of the cruiser class ships. Jedi will also be implemented although not a class in every map. The game will also be more objective driven compared to capturing outposts like the first battlefront. Pick up PC Gamer for some sneak preview screens of the sequel, and head over to discuss this in our Jedi Council Forums. UPDATE: EBGames has added Battlefront 2 to their release list as November 1st, 2005. Interestingly, the game is currently only listed for PS2 and Xbox. More as we have it. |

Hi I'm new. I have no life, so I made paper clone troopers. cut them out, cut on the black line, glue them to a tiny square of paper, and voila.  More units to come, but right now I'm focusing on the clone wars era. I'm also working on a LAAT Gunship, but right now it looks crappy. ne1 who can give me a detailed side view of the LAAT gets a sheet of droidekas. Current Mood: creative |

But HOW in the hell do you vote to boot players/traitors on your team? And can only hosts put up the starting vote? Cause I was jes playing, and after only three games I was royally pissed so I turned it off cause 2-3 kids were killing everyone. Soooo aggrivating. Current Mood: grr |

Has anyone been able to use any of the following effectively? -mines -time bombs -wookies And: does the pilot's rifle suck or what? I find tauntauns handy here and there, but I think I've yet to exploit their full tactical capability. |

alright dudes and fem-dudes...i finally rented this shizz on ps2, although i d rather play on pc.. but i figure..while i cant afford to buy it yet.. i ll learn it and what not on the console. so yeah i went through about a gazillion sets already, and im stoked for some friggin pc play. i was debating buying more ram before going with the pc version but fuck it, i d just have to wait longer. so whats the most overused map on pc? and most overused faction? lay some info on me kiddies. |

Online play is frustrating. There is so much internet connection lag that it stinks. And I'm not at the caliber of other online players. I get waxed every 20 seconds! |

ps2 patch
We got the wireless bridge and ps2 network adapter hooked up last night. When we went online it immediately started downloading a patch but then gave an error of downloading patch. And we could do nothing else. It would never download and install. Has this happened to anyone else? |

You guys use Gamespy, or the built-in server select screen?
I hate both. >:|
Though Gamespy tends to work better at least, but doesn't report the correct amount of players in game.
