A drabble writing/challenge community for and about the Avengers and a few of their closest friends.
This is the place for Fanfic witers in every part of the Avengers fandom, and it's many verses, who like to write drabbles.
If you want to post you have to join, as a means of avoiding Spam posts.
-A drabble by defintion is a fiction of exactly 100 words.
Double drabble: 200 words
Triple drabble: 300 words, you get the picture.
The whole point of drabble writing is to be exact so we expect exact word counts. Yes it's challenging but that is part of the fun. So if it doesn't end in a double 00 (up to 400) then this isn't the place for it.
-Please feel free to post a drabble for one of our prompts at anytime. All previous prompts are up for grabs at any time. There are no deadlines here only loads of drabbley goodness :D
-I will post a numbered prompt once a week usually on Wednesday afternoons.
-There may also periodically be drabble challenges and drabble writing memes if people show an interest. When we hold a challenge it might have specific time limits, word limits or expectations for how the prompt is used. Please adhere to these.
The other things we expect here are pretty simple.
-No wank. NONE.
Be generous with each other, like really excellent to each other. There are writers of different levels of ability in all corners of fandom so be kind and encouraging. Keep criticism to yourself unless specifically asked for it and even then be kind. That way everyone will benefit from being here.
-No RPF. There are other places for that as well. This isn't one of them.
-You can post directly to the community or post a link to your own journal. Do not link to f-locked entries.
-Prompts are only meant to inspire so use them how you choose.
-Use a cut for anything over 100 words, or for anything porny. (How to make an lj-cut.)
-Label your work in the subject line something like; Title, character, rating
We like header info but these are simple works so we'll keep it simple:
Title:
Author:
Prompt:
Characters/pairing:
Rating:
Warnings:
Genre:
Word Count:
You can add what ever you like to that, but please don't leave any of it out. This way people can make an informed decision about whether they would like to read or not.
Please be sure to list rating and warnings
Not complying regarding labeling, headers or warnings will get your fic deleted after a request to amend labels/header info.
Being a jerk will get you the boot.
