One in five australians suffer from mental illness, especially depression. Most of you on my flist know someone who is affected, or may even suffer from it yourself.
Please take it into your heart to donate a small ammount, either through the missyhiggins.org group (email shanelle to let her know) or follow the links to the actual webpage and donate through there. The smallest ammount makes a huge difference.

How would you personally describe these voices?
A) Tairrie B
B) Fiona Apple
C) Brody Dalle
D) Alanis Morrisette
E) Tori Amos
F) Missy Higgins
and any suggestions for amazing lady singers *curtsey* would be much appreciated, along with their voice description as you personally see fit :)
Actually, even male singers too,... all good voices! Voices to be heard by all!
(stoned girl here, sorry)
Also, I'm looking for the deepest male voice I can find in music. For those of you in Australia, JJJ did a special a few months back on deep male voices in singing.. I'm sure they included Tom Waits there too, but there were other ones.. Anyone have any idea of what they were?

This will be my first gig @ The Sando and everyone tells me it's a beautiful gig to play - a really nice atmosphere.

I am by no means a rock chick, infact I'm not a chick at all. But I am a huge fan of musican chicks. Pop stars are of course, not musicians. Rock, however, is overrated in this day and age. But all the power to all rock chicks for not being pop junkies. Rah.
Mmm.. Adalita. Yeah, she's cool. I like the other McLoad better, and she's not a musician.
This is a short and useless post, but to introduce myself, I'm Vin(cent), and am in one active band and one defunct band, neither are currently touring. I'm a bass player of 19 (years old, not years playing), and find musicians to be awesome.
The end.
Vin.
