This is a community for people who are ashamed to be American for whatever reason. Be you liberal, conservative, Rep, Dem, right, left, or anywhere inbetween -- if you're ashamed of the state of our union, then you belong here.
Keep in mind, the majority of this community is in fact composed of liberal pro-choice Bush haters. So it goes.
The only rule is that you can't promote your self-fellating communities, stores, websites, etc, etc, etc. No one gives a flying fuck. No one wants to help you get a free iPod. We'd rather, in fact, see you run over by that bandwagon. Your posts will be deleted and you will be banned. Please note that this rule doesn't apply to people who are trying to get signatures on a petition or people to mail their senators regarding a bill -- anything of that sort is fine.
Also, if anyone attacks you for off-topic issues (for instance, the way you look, where you live, etc) feel free to return the favor and/or email the moderator who has nominated herself to handle this -- Stephanie(steeeeephanie@gmail.com). This doesn't apply to people who attack you for being an idiot.
