Trying to sign in to Gmail is a pain because it brings up a Gemini AI promotion . Trying to bypass the promo is almost impossible having followed Internet solutions . The only way I can gain access to Gmail is to go incognito . Anyone else having the same problem ? How do you bypass the Gemini promo ?

My gmail app on my phone is always logged in, never have that issue

No problem for me logging into Gmail on iPhone app or web browser.

Don't see any promos on either

If you're talking about the promo that says AI Powered Email, that happened to a friend of mine. In the top right hand corner it says Sign In. He didn't see it. Once he signed in and answered a few questions. He was back to his gmail inbox.

My old laptop knows better than to offer A. I. to me because I am not interesed in it.

Ask Gemini maybe?

Use the "Ghostery adblocker for security" from the Chrome Webstore, its free and you´ll get rid from this pain...............

Alternatively, AdBlock Plus and / or uBlock Origin Lite. (Also both on the Chrome Webstore,)

I have both enabled on my browsers and rarely do I see adverts or promotions.

Because I do use AI I have "Ask Gemini" enabled - you can disable it in Chrome. Go to Settings > AI Innovations for several options

Oh and I also use a non-standard DNS that blocks ads on my PCs and phones.
