Hey, guess what? Tuesday = David. Wonderful.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm kind of ready to go to school. I got a really good schedule... and I'm ready to see everyone that I love but don't get to see over the summer.

i have nothing to say.

Honors Civics - Crumpler
Algebra 2 - McTamney

2nd Semester
Honors English 2 - Lewis

I've been with Craig all day. We went to the pool (as usual). Then later tonight we went to Firethorne. But it was closed. So we climbed the fence. And Natalie experience her first illegal activity. Not really, but it was funny. I'm not good at sneaking around. I'm wayyyy to loud.

I just got back from Spiderman 2 with Jonathan. How awesome is that movie? And Jonathan is such a sweetie. When my mom picked me up she didn't even recognize him. Funny. He's "swole" as Craig would say.

I want my schedule. NOW. Why does everyone have theirs except me. I wonder if I'm going to read Les Mis and A Seperate Peace in the 2 1/2 weeks before school. Or if I have english 2nd semester. Or if I even feel like reading those books.

I want to go to Olive Garden. Who wants to come with me?

I LOVE I LOVE THE 90's. SO MUCH. BECAUSE I REMEMBER THAT STUFF.

I cleaned my room. I can walk in it now. I am very relieved.

I went to the mall with Alex. Cool kid.

I'm hanging out... and I found this in my bible. And I liked it.

2 Cor. 4:16-18 -- "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes on not what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

I just got home from the house show with EACK/12Inch/DBD and what not. I left early. Lately I have been really hating on some house shows. They bore me. I hate sitting through crappy bands to hear 2 good ones. If anyone talks me into going to another one any time soon, I'm not going until like 2-3 hours after it starts.
I saw Justin. COOL.
I had IHOP today. EVEN COOLER.

Last night I watched Elephant. I don't care what you say about that movie being 'artistic'. It was horrible. Not only was it the slowest moving movie I have ever seen, only 1 out of the, lets say, 20 people in it, could act. That could be a GREAT movie if it had more substance. It was so boring. There was like no dialouge, no music. Nothing. Just kids walking around a for an hour highschool, then the last 20 minutes 2 guys making out in a shower and then a bunch of people getting shot. Then it ends. I may have had more sympathy for it if it was independent, but it was an HBO film. So I'm glad I didn't pay for it and ordered it on Movies On Demand... so I could fast forward while that kid walked the entire length of his highschool. Maybe I'm not deep enough for that movie. Whatever. It sucked.
Requiem For A Dream is the most depressing movie I've ever seen. I love it, but man. I felt horrible after watching it.
Pi was awesome/amazing. It reminded me of Mr. Kendrick. The end.

So those are my movie reviews.

UMMMMMMMMMMM. I SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY AND NOW IM BROKE. I WENT TO THE CHIROPRACTOR TODAY AND IT WAS AWESOME. IF I GET TO SEE ACROSS FIVE APRILS THE 30TH I'LL PEE MYSELF I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. THAT WAS LIKE MY FIRST 'HARDCORE' BAND. LAST YEAR I CAME HOME FROM CAMP AND TYLER B TOLD ME TO DOWNLOAD BLUE EYED SUICIDE. I THOUGHT HE WAS INSANE. HE ASKED ME IF I LIKED DOUBLE BASS. I SAID I'D NEVER HEARD THEM BEFORE. HAHAHHA. WOW. OK. NATALIE'S COME A LONG WAY. AND WANTS TO HEAR PAWN SHOP PROMISES LIVE. SO I JUST HOPE THAT SHOW WORKS OUT AND THEY CAN MAKE IT.

Well I gave in you guys... I went to Nordstroms and bought a 60$ t-shirt. It's just a plain t-shirt with like highlighter fluid tiedye. It's cool... I dunno if it's worth 60$ but the saleslady says "LIKE EVERYONE IN CALI WEARS THEM" and my aunt bought it. Maybe I should give Hollister the heads-up. Plus a black lacoste polo (so I can pop my colla, like the rest of weddington. not.) andddddddd this green 3/4 shirt. Plus this jacket. That rocks. I dunno how to explain it without it sounding tacky. Maybe it just is tacky. Whatever. It's like a real tailored jacket though.

I'm at my aunts right now. We cooked dinner and she's teaching me about wine. She has this mega collection. Worth more money than I can imagine. It's crazy what people pay for alcoholic grape juice. Right now, most wine tastes the same to me... but I will 'acquire a taste'. So yeah.
p.s. I'm not drinking to get drunk. I'm drinking it to be more 'sophisticated' and 'experienced'. So, back off. Edgers.
JK. I love my edgers. Please don't leave me comments that will amount to my entry about the scene.

Thunderstorms. I love them, in the day that is. Night thunderstorms = one of Natalie's big fears. Along with the ocean, the dark, under the bed, windows at night, and any other childhood fear you lost when you were about 8.

I'll be home tomorrow. Then me & Emma are supposed to do something.

PEOPLE I NEED TO HANG OUT WITH:
1. David
2. Beth
3. Alexander
4. Justin
5. Kaitlin
6. Caroline P.
7. Stew

Today: Within Reach show. Johnny, Emma, Sowka, Drew & I ended up in the pool fully clothed so we kinda left early and went to Taco Bell and I am officially addicted to chalupas. I'm chillin at Emma's now.

Natalie's Birthday Party For This Year: (that most likely will not happen and i'll end up at my house eating popcorn with about 5 peeople watching the mtv new years countdown)

For... December 31, 2004. NEW YEARS EVE.
OPTION 1:
1. Rent a hotel ballroom.
2. Have only the coolest bands play. Or a cool DJ.
3. Party start at 9 or 10.
4. Party end at about 2am.
5. Rent a suite in the hotel. Have a few of my FAVORITES spend the night in the hotel with me.

OPTION 2:
1. Rent a limo.
2. Get really dressed up.
3. Drive around CHarlotte all night taking pictures having fun messing around.
4. Rent a hotel room and spend the night.

So if anyone wants to split option 1 with me, it'd rock. Cause the only reason that wouldn't work would be the cost of it all.

I hate my username. It's so lame.

Craig woke me up today at 12 and picked me up and we went to Bojangles. It was really scary, we shouldn't have eaten inside. I'm totally serious... I was scared sitting in there. All these old dirty men and 3wijh4wr98ns yeah. It was weird. Then 2 guys from Parkwood came in... one being that drunk kid from Stevefest 1 that ended up stripping by the end of the night and he thought he was in Mexico and that it was Halloween. I don't know if you guys remember that... anyways, he's cool. And funny. We went to the pool after that. Then to BestBuy and I bought Broken Social Scene "Bee Hives" and Pi and Requiem for a Dream cause they were like packaged together and it was really cheap. COOL.

I'm about to go to a Knight's game with Sarah.
I hate baseball.
I don't know why I'm going.
Wait, yes I do.
Funnel Cakes at the Baseball Stadium.

Craig was looking for subwoofers for his car so we went to Tweeters or something and I saw the camera I've wanted for like a month now. Perfect timing... considering I just broke mine. Its a Sony Cybershot w/ 5.0 megapixels and a 3x zoom lense. It's no bigger than a sticky note and .8 of an inch thick. I was about in tears. I WANT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Maybe Christmas? Maybe everyone can pitch in some $$ and help me out? Maybe... my secret admirer could pick it up for me? OK COOL.
It's $499.99.
Start saving up!

( Camp Lurecrest 04'Collapse )

July 4 I was with Sarah P in Somerset shooting off lots of flammable material. It was fun, her dad spent about $1000 on fireworks... we had a great show. I spent the night with her, ended up at the pool the next day, then to that new italian place with Jay & Ted & her and we ate dessert there and drank coffee like cool people. It was fun.

Today I went out to eat with Emma, Jake & Drew. Nice time. Nice kids. I went to Ryan's after to watch Gladiator. FUNNNN. I'm here now. Loading all those pics. Those are only half of what I have but they are my favorites.

Well I'm home from camp. It was great, as usual. I didn't necessarily meet a lot of new people this time but I became a lot better friends with some of the people I met last year. Daniel, Ryan, Mark & Beth mainly.

I have about 112 pictures from camp. However... I broke my camera there. I think I dropped it too many times and when I busted the water balloon on it and dropped it one last time it was too much for my little camera to handle. :( So whenever I can get a Kodak camera here to use my memory card or find somewhere I can clear out my memory card onto a CD I'll post the good ones. I WISH I COULD SHOW YOU ALL OF THEM RIGHT NOW. THEY ARE SO GOOD. AHHHHHHH it makes me sick that I broke my camera. Maybe this means I can get a nicer one. Or maybe the complete opposite. I don't know... I have a feeling I'll just have to wait till Christmas and get a new one, but if I wait, I'll be able to get a really nice one.

I'm glad to be home though. In A/C and bug-free shelter. With clean floors. But I still love camp and the people there and the atmosphere (bugs, heat and rain included). Everyone that went that made it great... thank you so much!

Yesterday Emma came over and me and her and my sister went to the best restaurant ever... Monterrey. Then we went to Dick's and saw a 7+ foot guy, but I think he was only about 20 or so. Then we went to Rugged Warehouse and I met ANOTHER person from LJ, Jake, aloneinthelight. Except he noticed me first. And I just knew that he was 1. really hot and 2. really familiar. His friend Tom knows Emma. So that was cool.

I'm leaving for Camp 'Ludacris' in about 3 hours. I'm pretty excited. Camp is my time to hang out with GIRLS for 10 days. Even though there are guys at camp, you spend so much time with your cabin and the girls in it that you make more friends there in 10 days than you could make 10 months anywhere else. And I usually don't hate them all. Cool. Not to mention camp is the perfect place to escape the world, basically. And focus on more important things. You are pretty isolated (no tv, radio, WINDOWS, cell phones, computers) out there but it's so wonderful.
So anyways, don't dis my camp, and if you get bored... WRITE ME!

So... Camp is THURSDAY and all this stuff keeps coming to my mind from last year and the years before.

-The boys cabins running around with pots & pans at about 3 in the morning waking the boys side up... but we were in 1a and heard it all.
-Aliens came to our cabin at liek 1am and we went to the chapel to watch StarWars... but everyone fell back asleep.
-My fan tied with hemp to my bed.
-Putting makeup ALL OVER OUR FACES (me, jess, bianca) then going on a scavenger hunt.
-Those great talks with Jeremy.
-LURECREST DOUGHNUTS.
-Like 2 years ago, when the whole camp blew a fuse before dinner cause of all the hairdriers.
-Watching the diving competitions out our window during Cabin Corners.
-Having to literally PUNCH Jessica and risk the retaliation to make her get out bed and clean the toilets/showers/sinks whatever.
-The Hair Cabin.
-All. The. Bugs.
-RANCH HOUSE!!
-The mini-muffins we hid behind our bed.
-Stealing the tidy-bowl award.
-Camping out by the chapel with the campfire and all the shooting stars we saw
-Staying up with the coolest counselor ever, Katy, talking about what Jesus looked like
-

ok so only jessica & jami and any other girls that were in my cabin will remember half of those... but whatever.

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE, MY ONLY SUNSHINE.

So, all of you that don't go to camp, have to come hang out with me tomorrow.

Sorry if I pissed you off/offended you the last few days about the scene. I really do not hate the scene or the people in it, I hate the reputation some people have made it to be. I know people that really are in it for the music and for the great relationships that they can get out of it, but there are always those that ruin it. I'm not necessarily sorry about what I said, I'm just sorry that I didn't explain myself better or whatever.

So lets move on to bigger and better things.
Like Lurecrest. 3 Days, Homie.

Phil & Steve ran around Aero Plantation naked last night. That's a sight I will never forget. Yikes.

So, the last entry I made, and the 60+ comments that followed it, are the reasons why people hate the scene. For kids like Durando, you are what gives it a bad name. The ones that make it seem like you have to pass a written test and hold a membership card to listen to any hardcore. Because I said I liked a break from the OBVIOUS competition in the scene, people are preaching about Unity, Respect, Fashioncore, MTV, whatever. So I think I'll go listen to some Norma Jean... then maybe some Yellowcard... then some Reel Big Fish... and then bust out the Underoath... followed by some Sublime... end up the night with my favorite, Simple Plan and Q And Not U. Are those enough music scenes for you guys? Cool. Any bit of compassion I had left for kids of the scene that made me want to defend them and say that its not totally corrupted was severely diminished.

Hope to see you all at BTBAM, Beloved & Glass Casket in August. That show will truly bring the mosh.

The ska show was so much fun I don't care what you say about ska. I Voted For Kodos & Fletcher were the best. And those Taj people, they gave me lots of free stuff. It was just a fun night. We met 2 guys from This Waking Moment cause Scott had an It Dies Today shirt on and I thought that was cool. So, let's talk about the drummer from Fletcher. Wow. Emma & Jess know what I'm talking about. Overall, it was a fun night, cept for that Richard kid telling me to kill myself because my life would be horrible and I would amount to nothing. He was mad cause I said he was creepy and touchy and had a bad sense of style. He tried to kiss Emma, give her massages, make 'VULGAR GESTURES' while trying to skank like a retard. AHHH. What a LOSER. Anyways, I saw a guy from LJ there. David (ypluswhite_girl) It was funny. He's a cool/cute kid. Almost as indie as Gideon Yago... lol jk. Ska is just fun, it makes me smile and want to dance. Theres no competition in who can scream louder or dance harder or wear the tightest pants. To be honest it was kind of a relief from all the hardcore shows. Its good, clean fun. With lots of checkered clothing. And horns. And skanking. Anyways I stayed up till like 3, woke up at 6:30 to go to work with Emma, felt like crap, so I just went back to sleep like a slacker. Oh well. This is my last summer when I DON'T have to work so I might as well embrace it.

What is the (us) in Beloved(us)??

I saw Jonathan, Joe & Travis at the pool today. They are all "swole" as Craig would say. They made me think of football. That made me think of cheerleading. That made me miss cheerleading. Then I though of Lauren J. Then I though of how not making it in 9th grade was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Anyways JB & I will probably hang out again this weekend.

Dance sucked tonight. Taylor (our teacher) shaves his legs. They are tanner/smoother/prettier than mine.

Tomorrow = Haircut. I'm thinking trim, basically same length, bangs, highlights, one big chunky highlight in my bangs. No idea though. The guy that does my hair will hook me up, yo. He's coo. He paints his toenails. After my haircut I'm hitting up Best Buy/Media Play or something to get the new Underoath. Gotta stock up on cd's for Lurecrest.
