Do the GUYS get shit for liking emo?
I get alot of shit from people. They call me an "emo bitch" or a "emo homo" but I don't care. They're just ignorent and I'm not going to sit down and talk to those idiots and explin to them cause they obviouskly think I like the so-called "whinny emo", whatever, I don't care. They should get a life and worry about it instead of worrying on what I listen, they should get a life. BUT....half the school hates me cause they think I'm a "bitch" and I'm coceited. Some bitch asked me "why do you think you;re better then everyone?" I told her "I don't think I'm better then everyone, I KNOW I'm better then everyone. well that's it, bye.<3

Hello everyone. I'm new.

Name's Michelle. Was feeling a bit lonely so I searched for communities.

Pathetic, huh?

Well I guess I pulled an Emo for that.

Anywho, I like bands similar to Coheed and Cambria, mae, Death Cab For Cutie, Beulah, Cursive, Further Seems Forever [I heard that Chris Carraba replaced the previous vocalist, not discriminating towards him, but I like FSF before Chris came in], The Good Life, Matchbook Romance, and Belle & Sebastian.

Correct me if any of them are wrong. I just despise being incorrect, especially with music.

I'm a bit mixed between the more HXC Emo and Indie scene... with various soft, fluffy, happy sections in songs followed by the hardrocking and yelling.

I'm in a certain scene in my life where I engulf myself in one artist, now being, post-Coheed and Cambria, Mae. And I'm in a search of similar artists, of course with that "Indie" "Non-popular" label on it, just to keep my music reputation intact. ;D

So if any of you can possibly recommend some bands or even maybe a playlist for a mix cd, I'd be ever grateful.
