Today my boyfriend; got little baby Jordan outfits; I know its really early; but I just about cried over how cute these were when I saw them; Then he surprise me with them today =]
And they are so cute I decided to take pictures and share

Today I am 9wks =]
The last couple of days naseua hasnt paid me any visits; hopefully it stays this way for a little bit =]
Happy To Have Made It This Far Without Breaking Down;
Those 9wks were so hard for me; Im just a big baby =]
And also my doctors appoitment for the 11th has been rescheduled to the 25th =/

I just joined and I wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Skye, I'm 20 years old and expecting my first child. My boyfriend and I found out at about 4 weeks, we saw him for the first time at about 8 weeks due to blood clot complications that threatened to terminate the pregnancy. Things worked out in our favor obviously.
At 17 weeks they noticed I had sevre cervical shortening. At 20 weeks they did an emergency cerclage (a purse stitch through the cervix to hold it closed) . I went on strict bed rest, went to the hospital twice once at 20 weeks again at 24 weeks for preterm labor. Both times I was released after 24 hours. I was admitted again to the hospital on 11-24-07 for preterm labor and I haven't left since. I go to maternal fetal medicine (which is located on the bottom floor of the hospital where I pretty much live, health park hospital, fort myers, florida) twice a week for cervical length ultrasounds. I am currently 30 weeks 0 days, my baby boy Elijah Maddison weighs 3.12 lbs and is 19 and1/2 inches.
If any other young moms did hospital bedrest or struggled with incompentant cervix I would love to exchange emails and I love hearing every babies story.

My cousin wanted me to ask this, she is breast feeding her 18 month old still and wants to get a tattoo. The place she is going is a very good place. Basically she wants to know if its safe. I told her that I wouldnt do it but she wants other opinions. |

I'm having trouble getting my toddler to eat. She's 14 months old and the only things she will eat are:
elbow noodles in marinara sauce
green beans
mixed vegetables
cinnamon raisin toast
bananas
peaches
nectarines
strawberries
watermelon
Yes, that's pretty much an exhaustive list.
What do you feed you babies? I need some new ideas to get this kid to eat something. |
