Okay I am starting a band and I am looking for members. Anyone that lives in the Texas area, preferably near San Antonio (Houston, Dallas, etc.) I've been wanting one since the longest time. I was in one of sorts but they were way to far away, so I would prefer people that are in Texas.
I'm interested in playing many covers by other bands, but we won't be a complete cover band, but I would like to start off with a few covers, then make our own music, of course.
I myself, play guitar and bass. I mostly play the guitar.
I am looking for another guitarist, bassist, vocalist and drummer.

AND MANY OTHERS.
Requirements: 1. Passionate about Jrock music. 2. Committed to practice regularly in the San Antonio area, (at least once during the week) 3. Able to take time off work/school to occasionally to travel to gigs. (If we ever do.) 4. Vocalist must be comfortable singing in the Japanese language. 5. Drummer must have own drum set. 6. Cooperative. 7. Good practicing ethics. 8. Be serious when necessary. 9. Some expierience. 10. Play acoustic as well as electric but its okay if you can play either one and not the other. 11. Can play both rythm and lead. 12. Needs to be familiar with music styles ranging from metal to jazz/funk. 13. Between the age of 16-20. 14. Should be able to provide back up vocals.(Singing screaming, though not necessary if you can't.) 15. Can be used as transportation when needed. 16. Good with people. 17. Willing to help others. 18. Finally should be able to have fun.
As for ethincity and gender, it is not important as long as you can play. But prefebrably I would like a male vocalist. Other than that its all cool.

SO I ACTUALLY MADE FUCKING ICONS. BUT. I only made a weak 14, OH GOD. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME. The only reason why I didn't make much was becuase all the lighting in the pictures looked like shit, and most of the Kyo pictures were all "OMFG I AM AN EMO KID AND I LIKE TO CUT MYSELF AND BE A VAMPIRE." AND SURPRISINGLY, there is only a few Dir en grey ones. HOLY FUCK. AND. Most of the people I iconed I don't even know who they are. LOL. SO. I named them, my WTF ICONS. 8D BTW. I do know I mispelled GANGSATH. DEAL.
Even though I doubt it will happen here, I'm giving you all a warning just in case. Just be very cautios when you click on links in communities. For more info click on the link.
EDIT: Apparently the hackers hacks into a mod's LJ account and makes a post in their communities that they have moved. It then takes you to a page that is not even LJ but looks like LJ and asks you to log in. Then the hackers will know your username and password and hack into your account. So be careful with links or posts like "WE ARE MOVING" or "THIS COMUNITY IS CLOSED WE ARE MOVING HERE" just hover over the link and make sure its a link AT LJ. Or just don't click it at all. I doubt this will happen here at all, because it is only happening to communities with 1000 members and more.
