I also want to note that a spot on our team has opened up -- one of the original members never joined this comm, so the assumption is that she's no longer interested in participating. If anyone has a friend who'd like to sail our ship, now would be the time to pull them on board.

I know that many of you aren't used to LJ, so I'm posting to remind you that you need to log in to see the locked planning posts on this comm. Half of you have yet to sign up for a challenge round or give opinions on our group project. I'd hate to see you get left out, so let's fix that!

I'd also like to encourage everyone to go make some banners for rival teams in Bonus Round Zero. Let's face it: they're trying to compete with K<>K, so they could use all the help they can get. kittymaria has already produced this adorable picture for us, as part of the bonus round festivites.

Comrade eesotericat has come up with a pretty cool idea. She thought that we could draw ourselves into pre-set positions and create a sweet team photo for the purpose of banners and awesome. As Team Karkat♦Kanaya, it is incumbent upon us to set an example of style and class for all of the other ships that we are going to leave in the dust.

Ideally, if we do this thing, we'll get it together by next Sunday, before the proper challenges commence. And so I refer this matter over to you, the illustrious consorts of the Land of Blood and Diamonds.

For instance: do Karkat and Kanaya prefer hugs, or bunps? This is just one of the many important shipping questions that plague our fandom. As a team, we need to do our part to solve the great mysteries of Homestuck. Everyone has an important job to do.

Is there anything we can to do to ramp up to the challenges? I know that other teams have put together fight songs, or started throwing out song suggestions for pairing FSTs. Leave suggestions if you got 'em.
