Hello all. Happy New Year! I've been a member for a long time, but haven't posted here in over 10 years. I've gotten more into posting on my journal in the last year and I'm looking for new friends.

My name is Heather. I'm 43, from Virginia. I'm a mom of 3, ages 22, 21, and 4. No, that wasn't a typo and the last one wasn't a surprise! My 4 yr old has Autism and I post sometimes about that. I also write a lot about my health, both physical and mental, weight loss, anxiety & Bipolar Disorder. I love to read, write, workout, listen to music, watch tv/movies, walk/run, go to concerts, talk to new people. I'm trying to get back into creative writing. I try to comment as much as I can. I love talking to people, I'm kind of an extrovert but still like time to myself. I don't really like talking about politics, but I'm middle of the road when it comes to views. Hey everyone! I am venturing back to LiveJournal. I've tried a few times then life would get crazy. Now I am determined to do it. I am also on Dreamwidth, which will be getting the same posts I do here. I used to have the best friendships on here so I am hoping to rekindle that.

5. Occupation: I am currently disabled, but do side work for an art studio/theater and I am also their building manager for one of their locations. I am also a student (trying to get back into it after becoming disabled late last year.)


6. Kids/pets: I hve 4 kids (3 here, 1 has passed) and I have two cats, Lexi and Luna. I take way too many pictures of them.

• How long have you been in livejournal?: I technically started in the late 90's.


• What kind of books do you like?: I honestly will read anything. I do love paranormal and mysteries. Also science fiction.


• What is your favorite movie/TV shows?: I love Star Trek, everything Marvel, any shows about hospitals and first responders, anything to do with the legal system. I'm also a huge broadway fan so the Wicked movies are top of my mind lately. I love all kinds of movies.


• What kind of music do you listen to?: 90's, broadway musicals, Taylor Swift and I play Halloween Horror Nights playlists a lot.


• What are some of your hobbies?: Theater, directing shows, art, thrifting, going to the Space Center.


• Other interest?: True Crime, tattoos, photography, activism


• What are you looking for in a livejournal friend?: Someone who I get along with, won't be offended if I aren't here for a few days. Becoming disabled and chronically ill makes me unreliable in that sense but I always find time after practicing self care.

Hi. I'm Cat, a 41 year old single mom of 2 boys who lives in New Jersey.
I've been on LJ since 2003, but I tend to forget about it a lot (mom brain).
I like to hang out with my kids, even though they are getting to the ages where they don't really like hanging around with me (7 and 10). I love listening to music - Hanson, Mest, O-Town, The Early November - apparently I'm stuck in the last 90's early 2000's. Movies wise, Harry Potter, Twilight, Say Anything, The Conjuring. TV, Greys Anatomy, Friends, Big Bang Theory, Impractical Jokers.
I also like to play Sims 4, and Left 4 Dead 2.
I don't post much, but when I do it's mainly about my kids, sometimes surveys, and pictures.

I recently had surgery so I'm stuck on this damn couch for a few months. I need new friends to keep me from going insane with boredom.

Hello my name is Sera and I write poetry, reflections on life, & I paint and draw occasionally and will post on my journal such things mentioned. I like the Victorian Era, Greek Mythology, German Expressionist film, Silent Films, Sci-Fi & Psychological Thrillers. I'm a huge fan of Twilight Zone.

I love things that try to describe life or psychological states we reach or are at. I feel we're limited in the English language to truly describe everything particularly and in depth still, but love when we just scratch the surface in the meantime.

I'm new here and looking for more journals to read and people to get to know — I'm looking to only add females at this time, as I'm also female & won't add back any men here for obvious reasons, so please respect my wishes.
