Why use five seats when three and a half are plenty?

3point5seats has but a few simple rules. Learn them, know them, love them.

1. This community is a place of positivity, love, happiness, excitement and rainbows. If you're not down with that, please don't join. If you do join, play nice-- with others, with your words, with ideas and with feelings. We all have a lot of thoughts and feelings. Sometimes they're not the same thoughts and feelings as someone else. That's okay. Be respectful.

2. We're all adults. Literally. You should be 18 years old or more to be here, because we talk about adult things. By joining and reading and participating, you are consenting to these adult topics. Please make sure your year of birth is displayed in your profile or message a moderator before requesting membership.

3. The guidelines on which posts are locked and which aren't:

a. We would prefer you to post (unlocked) and link to your unlocked fic (hosted on your own LJ, your own fic LJ, or AO3 if you'd like.) If you prefer to lock your fic, please post it under an lj-cut in a locked post in this community. DO NOT POST PUBLICLY TO THIS COMMUNITY AND LINK TO LOCKED FIC.

b. Timelines and primers will be posted unlocked in the community at the discretion of the moderators.

c. Everything else should be locked, and will be locked.

4. Please do not post works in progress or chaptered fic by making multiple posts. When your fic is finished and hosted elsewhere we'd love to hear about it.

5. Do not link to the community or its posts or contents on Twitter, Tumblr, etc. DO NOT DO THIS.

6. If you have questions, concerns, praise, complaints, breaking news, or gifts of appreciation, please contact the moderators.
