I hate the word No!

My conversation with Reagan during bath tonight:
Me:Reagan are you playing in the tub!?
R: No
Me: Yes. Yes you are playing in the tub!
R: Yes
Me: Reagan are you playing in the tub?
R: Noo
Me: Yes, yes, yes you are!!
R: yes
Me: Are you playing in the tub?
R: No
This is how it goes most of the time. I can not get this girl to say the word yes on her own! I am so frusturated. Some day hopefully I will be able to say that she has said something other than no to a question! On a better note....she figured out how to climb up on the couch tonight! So within a few hours her new favorite activity is climbing on and off the furniture.

Fall recap

 

 Where did October go? I can't believe it is already November and it's freezing outside! I can't feel too bad about it though because we filled the month with lots of our fall favorites!
I started this post a month and a half ago seeing as how now it is almost DECEMBER so I have changed it from October recap to our fall recap.
I feel like I am just watching as the months rush past me!!

We dress our kid as animals often.

 

 

 

I wish I could ad more photos but the computer takes way to long. We had a great fall. We made it to the the fair. Reagan loved all the animals! We got lots of apples and made applesause. We are having a blast with Riz. As you can see from the last photo, she is quite the entertainment!! 

 

Halloween 2012, for you Brenda

I have known for awhile now that one day I would have a chicken for Halloween. I saw one when i was young and thought it was the cutest thing! I had a vision. I think some people thought I was crazy but this year it came together better than I imagined! Reagan chicken was a total hit! It worked well because she was able to waddle around well but was still little enough you just wanted to eat her up!

I went Trick or Treating as an egg. What goes better with a chicken than an egg! Chris had to work late but we went with friends!

Bath time with cousins!

I am still trying to upload birthday pictures but I am having a difficult time. It's too many at one time. But while we were at the lake over Labor day weekend we put Reagan and Reid in the bath together. It was really more fun for Linds and I then the babies. They seemed a little unsure of the whole thing but they looked super cute naked and all soapy! I know these are pictures we will look back on when are kids are 16 and think of how young everyone was. This is such a fun phase of life.

Potty Training?!

Today Reagan walked up to me and plain as day said "poop" as she lifted up her dress!!!! I am so excited. hah. I am sure she is way off from being potty trained but i know it can't be that far off! It is so crazy to me that she is so little but know exactly what she did!  Love this girl!

Update

I have so much to catch up on! Reagan turned 1 a few weeks ago, I started working again and then we took off for the lake Labor day weekend. I promise I will post pictures of her party and I have a few from the lake but I really want to document some of riz's development!

Today September 4th, I asked her where my eye was and she pointed right to it. It was so cool seeing that she is learning. She also knew where her noes was too! But thats about as fas as we got.
She has also started clapped for the first time last week. It seems like kids clap when they sit up or crawl but I could never get her to do it. She sure does do it now though!

She is talking a ton and walking really well now. She has several works she prefers like ball, but she will repeat just about anything you say and she notices the littlest things, like a piece of fuzz on the couch. She is going through some tantrums when she doesn't get her way...hoping it's a phase!

As I thought about my baby turing one year old I wanted to note some of my favorite things. I think all kids or all my kids must do what Reagan does but as she changes I realize thats not true.

I love how Reagan would roll her ankles round and round in circles. She did from a baby and for a long time, but she stopped doing it once she was crawling/walking.

After her baths we put her on our bed and dry her off. She gets so excited and jump around  like a bucking bronco...it is so cute!

When Riz falls sleep, often times she clasps her hands together like she is praying...I know it won't last forever.

These are just a few, but I don't want to forget them.
