This was the first ride we took the kids on at Disneyland. Yes. It's the Tower of Terror. Taylor was NOT happy with us for the rest of the day.

We always love eating the lunch with the Princesses at Disneyland. TOTALLY worth the break, food, and meeting the princesses up close.

We went to build-a-bear at the end and the girls each got to pick out an animal. They were on cloud-9.

Here's Abigail's award night for her soccer team. Ironically my phone died and I didn't get any pics of Bird and her award... so this is gonna have to cut it.

Went grocery shopping with THIS MANY kids. It was an adventure.

These persimmons earned a spot in this blog. They are my shining delight during the winter months. I eat like 3 of these babies a day when they are in season. Love me some persimmons!

My hubby is a stud. He up and taught our "Marriage Enrichment" class spur-of-the-moment on Sunday. All whilst our baby was runnin' around the classroom. (Can you find her?)

This is a house at the end of our street that counts down every year. So fun.

Every year we go to the Christmas Nativity in San Jose- this church puts on an amazing display, with real camels, donkeys, and an entire city of a cast. They actually bring in loads of sand to cover the ground in their entire parkinglot and church courtyard. It's truly like you are in Jerusalem. Here they are making wine....

Love this group of friends. We hold a "Religious Discussion Group" meeting with them every other week and talk about the Gospel of Jesus. We are all from different religions. It's so neat.

This was so incredibly cute and fun. I took the girls to the Nutcracker with G-Sylvia and Marci's kids. G-Sylvia gave each of the girls a REAL nutcracker! They love them.

The whole Hannan Clan got together to share each of our "service" gifts that we did this year. It was super special to see what each family chose to give! We did the fundraiser for the orphanage in Haiti. It was the most amazing experience. I'll have to find photos and post 'em here.

BOTH of these girls were faking sleeping. Becca surprised us when we were just looking at her sleeping and all of a sudden she opens her eyes and smiles and says "haaaaaaaaaah"!

On our way home from Utah we stopped at the Jelly Belly factory for a tour. It was awesome.

Sometimes you gotta post even the most embarrassing of photos... this is how our house looks sometimes. I'm not afraid to admit it. It's times like this I feel like taking a garbage bag and just throwing it all away.

Addie gets her own room for Christmas!

I have so many of these photos of Becca nekkie runnin' around. This particular time she had just finished a bath and I thought I'd quickly let her run around while I got the other kids out of the bath. You can't see it, but the reason I took this photo was because she had peed aaaaaall the way across the room while running. Then when she stopped to look at the strange wet stuff coming out all over, she poo'd all over the ground. It scared her so much she went RUNNING again, and continued to POO while running away! It was NOT funny. Except it was REALLY funny. There was poo and pee everywhere and she was an emotional mess! So gross!

This was our CHOCOLATE PARTY! The kids had been on a "no candy" diet for 2 months- and at the end of it all we celebrated with THIS:

They also earned money according to how well they did. Addie earned the full $20. Taylor earned (I think) $7. Sweet little Abigail didn't earn any, but she "didn't care" and was perfectly content anyway.

Going to the "Circ de Solei" in San Jose for Valentines Day. Dan made fun of my cute grey shirt that looked like a Goodwill donation, but we had a romantic night anyway! hahaha

I put this in here to remember how often my girls get to play with balloons because of my photography. I shoot cake smashes all the time (baby turning 1 gets to smash an entire cake and eat it) and the girls LOVE sneaking bites of the smashed cake and playing with the leftover balloons afterward.

The movie "Frozen" is super popular right now. Olaf is our buddy.

We invited everyone over for popcorn and to watch the movie Frozen in the studio on a projector. So much fun.

Addie's and my first Women's Conference together. We went on a Mommy Daughter date and got sushi before the conference. Addie's new "favorite food".

So proud of Abigail. She ran sooo hard and was running practically the entire 1.5 hrs of her walk-a-thon. She actually got the medal for the best runner in her grade!!!!

Daddy was out of town on a trip- so we went to the "Jungle" and had ourselves a blast!

While Daddy was still out of town, I took the girls on a "GNO" date. we went swimming at the CRC, out do dinner at a diner in Morgan Hill, then drove home around 9:30pm! Would've been great if we hadn't have gotten a flat tire on the van on our way home!

Our sweet neighbor was so nice and drove the kids home while I waited for the tire guy my insurance was supposedly sending. after waiting for over an hour, I changed the tire on my minivan BY MYSELF and drove home. It took me forever to figure out, since the tire was up underneath the front of the car... but I got it done. No fun with the Man of the house gone. Addie was great and helped put all the kids to bed. Kal was so sweet and babysat till I got home. Love our neighbors!

Taylor learned to love the water this year. Lessons were rough at first, and she cried the entire time for the first 3 lessons. After the 3rd lesson, I threw her in the pool with her floatie on until she stopped crying. (It took about 15 times.) After that she started loving lessons, and was proud to jump in all by herself at the end of each lesson! By the end of her 3 week course, she could swim by herself to the side of the pool (with me watching) and she's my youngest swimmer yet! I think next year she'll be able to go totally solo. She's just 4 yrs old! So proud of her.

Our monkey baby climbs EVERYTHING. We call her "Taz" because, well... she's the tazmanian devil.

Abigail was in "Cub Choir" this year and was super cute! She loves to sing and dance.

Oh this is when I kept throwing her in the pool... eventually she figured out to just swim away... but her swim teacher kindly swam over and brought her back to me. heh heh...

Then we went to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and rode rides.

We were both motion sick after the first ride. Blahhhhh.

I took Abigail to a Tea House for her birthday date! It was so cute- they had cute chairs and tables and tiny tea sets. They served tiny pastries, sandwiches, and dainty treats with teas and hot cocoa. Abigail loved that they had lumps of sugar and kept asking me if I'd like "one lump or two"

You can't really tell, but this is a ball of string from Taylor's "Bubby" blankie. I find them in random places. She likes to hold them and roll the shedding string in a ball and just plays with it- even sucks it. It always makes me smile when I find one of these. They always look like a spider from a distance.

Fireworks in Utah!

For a few years the girls have bugged me to have a garage sale at our house. Though I LOVE garage-saling... I hate thinking of having one ourselves... but we finally did it and the girls were SO excited! They sold quite a bit, and it was really fun.

This has been Becca's favorite toy. If you don't know what these are, they are called "floppy disks" and used to be used to store information. Now a days we use cd's and dvd's and thumb drives. Who knows what the future will bring?

I wish I could remember all the things "Taz" got in to this day... It was crazy. She sat in the sink and turned the water on, she took her diaper off and went running around naked, she got in to my pack of gum from my purse (her FAVORITE thing to do) and ate about a half pack of gum, she stole Addies candy and ate half of it leaving Addie crying... and then this... (and I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple of things too.) Youd' think this took hours... but all of this only took about 15 minutes- and happened because I was following after her cleaning up her messes while she was getting in to another. I finally just got out my camera and embraced it all.

Getting their yearly check up at the Dr's. My big girls all growd up! Taylor had to get shots and she didn't even cry!!! What a trooper. It also helped that when she left the room to get weighed, we all put bandaids on and pretended that we had all gotten a shot too. Sweet girl. When you can read this yourself you will be old enough to appreciate the story. Hopefully you won't be mad at us for tricking you... we love you and didn't want you to feel alone.

Took the girls on a girls trip to St. George! Dan drove the baby the rest of the way to SLC, and I kept the 3 olders and met up with my bff Tess and Willow. We all went and saw the musical "The Little Mermaid" at the Tuachan Theater outdoor and it was fantastic!

Papa took us on the girls' first real hike in the mountains. We hiked to Lake Blanch. It was about 6 miles round trip. The girls were awesome. Addie wouldn't go pee on the trail, so she ran about 1 1/2 miles back at the end without stopping until she reached the outhouse at the bottom.
