Breeders' Cup 2012

The Staleys came to town last month, (this tends to happen when the Breeder's Cup is in California). We had a wonderful time spending time together throwing our hard earned money out the window! Everyone except Grandpa Gradyn that is, he always walks away a winner.

Halloween 2012

Holidays are becoming so much fun now that Liam is old enough to understand what is going on! This year we made cupcakes, went trick or treating with 15 of Liam's closest buds, then went to a Halloween party, and to top it all off we were paid a visit by The Great Pumpkin! With some big help from Grandma Cookie, Liam dressed up as Handy Manny, a repairman with talking tools on the Disney Channel, and Reed was the most adorable baby bat there ever was!

Liam's First School Project

Liam was given his first take home project this week. So exciting! The assignment was to create a disguise for their turkey that would help them survive Thanksgiving. We decided that a turkey could hide amongst all the vegetables that Mommy buys, but nobody likes to eat. The turkey is also offering a muffin should anyone actually contemplate eating a vegetable, that is always Liam's first choice of food. Don't tell him, but I sneak veggies into those too!

Silly Boy

At some point everyone has to have a picture of them self wearing a diaper on their head. In my opinion, the sooner the better! Here is Liam's.

Meat n' Potaoes

So it wasn't exactly the meat and potatoes that Reed had in mind, but he still enjoyed his first meal of rice cereal.

6 Months!

Reed is six months old today! He gets cuter everyday, more and more like Will all the time. I am starting to see how Will was able to get away with so much. That smile melts my heart!

Weight: 18.88lbs 91% (-1/2 lb from bronchitis last week)

Big Boy and Baby

Whenever I tell Liam he is silly or crazy, or ask him if he's hot or cold; he says, "No, me big boy." very matter of factly. So when he insisted on being the first one into the jumper, I asked him if he was a baby. He replied, "No, Reed baby, me Big Jet!". Which is the "bad guy" on Little Einsteins. Not sure if I like where that one is going! Reed thinks the jumper is great, but I am a little concerned with the fact the he is better at playing the little piano with his face rather than his fingers...

Say Adios to Will's Twenties!

Will turned thirty last weekend, and with a lot of help from our friends and family I was able to pull off a surprise party for him.  We had a lot of fun pretending to be kids again!

Special thanks to Chris for hosting, you are the best friend we could ask for.  We are so lucky that fate put us next door to you. Thank you as well to Bill and Michelle who took the boys for the night, which is the only reason we were able to let loose! Thanks Shannon for showing up early and doing the last minute preparations. Also, my friend Gabby who hand rolled 120 taquitos, and made her famous guacamole and Mexican rice. She is amazing! Thank you all around for everyone who made the trip out, I know that Will had a great time thanks to you all!

Will and my friend Bonnie share a birthday, so it was twice the fun!

Sleep Over!

Last night we surprised Will with a party at our neighbor Chris's, so Liam and Reed had a sleepover with Grandpa and Mimi! From the looks of it they had lots if fun, but wore Grandpa completely out!

Cousin Time

We had a nice lunch with Grandma Cookie and the Malgradi's on Sunday. Now there is a good lookin' well behaved set of kids if I've ever seen one! How we got all three to sit together and smile, I don't know! Truly miraculous.

Old Man Will

Will is turning 30 this weekend (better him than me). Here are some pictures from his party at Ruth's. We had a fantastic time, but no one had more fun than Liam.
