Does anyone Blog anymore?

It has been almost a year! My question is does anyone blog anymore? Does anyone look at mine? If you do, I would love to do it again! Our family is growing so fast and I really have time to blog again, I think. So let me know if you follow and I will write! I am excited to see if you have updated your own blogs. End of Sports for the year!

Sports for Fall! 

It was a crazy fall for sports! Bray has been the only child who has been in sports. But this year I was talked into having Abby, Ethan and Ryan play soccer with the neighborhood kids! It was a little scary but ended up super fun! So Ethan and Ryan were naturals at soccer. They both did awesome at playing goalie. Ryan would sacrifice his body to not let the ball in the net. It was hilarious! Ethan loved kicking the ball but most of the time he would not get close enough to the net to kick it in. They both scored at least once in every game and we were so proud!

Abby played soccer with some girls from the neighborhood and had a blast! I was so proud of her. She ran more than I have ever seen her run! She even scored in one of the games. Not bad for a little girl who has never played a sport and has a leaky valve in her heart!!! 

Bray just finished his 4th year of Football! He was not really excited about playing this year, since last year was a little rough. But he played anyway and had the best coaches yet! He did awesome! Their team just won the Championship! So proud of all our little athletes. We look forward to the spring when Bray is back in Lacrosse and the little boys can try out baseball. Abby wants to do soccer again, but mom is going to try to convince her of dance or gymnastics! I need one without a sport with a ball!! 

November Already!!

I can't believe it is November! I have not kept up on my blog, just as many of my friends, but I would like to try again. I feel like life is passing by and I have not really reflected on anything! So I am going to go with the theme of November by saying what I am grateful for! So here it goes and I hope you do not get bored. I am Number One grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father! Because without them, I would not have anything else to be grateful for. Second I am grateful for my loving husband. Because without him I would not have my beautiful children and my home. I would not be the person I am without him. As cheesy as it sounds he really does complete me! My children, They drive me crazy most of the time, but that is exactly what they are suppose to do! So I am grateful that they are healthy, strong willed, loving, and kind. And cute is an understatement!! I am grateful for my parents and siblings, blood and married into! They are all so different and give me so much strength! I could never have made the decisions in my life without them. I am so grateful for my neighbors and friends. Wonderful wonderful wonderful! I know this is really mushy, but I thought this would be a good way for me to start my blog over again. I always start my daily prayers with what I am grateful for, so why not do the same thing in public. I know that if I do this I will not focus on the stress and worries of everyday life. We all have them, and we all survive. That is why we are here! As I look back, the hard things have always been the reason that something else better has come along. It helps me appreciate things that I may not have before. So I hope that as you get ready for the crazy holiday season, you will reflect on the things you are grateful for also! Because we all have something to be grateful for. Happy November!!

I know it has been forever since I posted anything! It is a little embarrassing! School has started and I am trying to get my life organized again! LOL!! So there is more to come soon! Love you all!!

Christmas 2009

We had a very special Christmas this year! My Mom, Dad and Brother Robby were here to spend it with us! My family moved to California 5 years ago. We have had a few Thanksgivings and we visit every summer, but we have not had Christmas with them since they have been in Cali. We were so ExciteD, and sad that my sister and family could not make it up here to spend with us too. It was Ethan and Ryan's first Christmas with Nana and Grandpa Mac. We had our week full of fun and just hanging out! We went ice skating at Gallivan Center, drove past the lights at Temple Square (too cold to get back out :) Nick, Robby and Bray went and hit the slopes on Christmas Eve morning! It was such a beautiful day for them to go. They made it down a couple of times, until they heard Bray yelling and crying for help! Nick ran up to get him. He was in so much pain and he knew he hurt his arm bad. He called me before he knew any details and I was a bit panicked. :0) We found out he had dislocated his elbow!! OUCH!!! He was well takin care of in the Brighton Clinic. They gave him plenty of morphin so they could put it back in place. He was very brave but also bummed he was done boarding for the DAy!! They came home just in time for our traditional christmas eve with the Whites. We read our favorite stories and watched our favorite "feel" good movie Christmas Vacation!! It was so great to have my dad read the Polar Express. It has been a Mac family tradition for around 12 years! I have really missed hearing his voice when we read it! Thanks Poppa! Christmas morning came early since the kids are not good at sleeping in, and everyone waited till they could go into the Christmas room!! The kids were so excited when they saw all the gifts as usual! They were so grateful. They said thank you for every little thing! It was really so fun. It was such a great thing for me to have my family there with me to share my JOY! We ended our week with a bang! Thanks to our friends in the radio world we got 5 tickets to the Jazz game!! We sat in a suite, (my families first time!) and just had a great time watching the game! I know this is a long description, but it was such a great Christmas, one of the best I have ever had. I am SO grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. I feel blessed every single day to have such a wonderful family and friends! I truly love them with all my heart! I am so thankful for my husband. He is a wonderful father and provider for our family. If it wasn't for him, we would not be able to have and do so many things! Hope your Christmas was as memorable as mine was!

Pre- Christmas in San Fran!!

Picture this, A week before Christmas you leave the kids, the shopping, the decorating and the making gifts for the neighbors and fly off to San Francisco!! We left on a Sat Morning and came home on a Tuesday. We have never been to San Fran, so we went with our friends Bryce and Melva who LOVE San Fran!! They made all the plans and we just went along! It was SOOOOO fun!! We saw Alcatraz, Fisherman's warf, Sausalito, The Golden Gate bridge and Me and Nick's favorite Football team BEAT the Arizona Cardinals in a MOnday Night FOOTBALL game!! (my first NFL game!!) It was such a great time to go and play. I didn't worry about the whole Christmas thing! It was great weather. A little chilly, but nothing compared to the 5 degree weather that we were having at home. Thanks to Melva and Bryce for making it a GREAT vacation!!

Happy Birthday B!!

Thanksgiving 1997. It was a shock to me at 3am that my water broke! I between contractions I packed the car, and waited for Kenny to take a shower, feeding the dog, and making sure that everything was in order. Off we were to the hospital to have a baby! It was so early in the morning I thought for sure that we would not ruin anyones Thanksgiving plans...WRONG!! He took 11hrs and 59 mins to make his way out! Silly boy! So at 2:59 pm Bray Connor Hallman was born. First Grandson to my parents and 2nd grandchild but 1st Grandson for The Hallman's! Everyone was there to see our perfect little baby boy! He was the most beautiful baby. I can say that, cuz I have 3 more!! :0) He just celebrated his 12th birthday!! I can't believe I am that old! LOL! We love him so much. He is the best kid! He is kind, smart, funny, talented and still so handsome! Happy Birthday to our TURKEY, BEEZER, BC, B, our BRAY! Love you tons bud!!
