I thought it would be cute to show Dad what goes on during his conversation with Adi.

Excited for the walker

So I went to the car to grab the walker for Adi and Ayzlyn's face lit up and Adi was not very happy to see it. Adi is officially to cool for her walker.

Scott and Alabama

I flew into Birmingham airport drove to Montgomery, went shopping, and got done with everything I wanted to by 3pm. Then came the waiting... we still didn't know if Scott's flight got flight of the week- the difference would be getting to see him at 9am instead of 1pm.
Saturday morning I got a text from Scott he was on his way. His eta 9:30am....I was so excited I ran downstairs to wait in the lobby. When he drove into the parking lot I cut off a man walking out the door. I flashed him a smile and he asked, "what's going on, you have a very big smile on your face?" I explained I just saw my husband and he said "well don't let me keep you."
I got to the car and jumped in... man did Scott look good.
The day went by fast-- we talked for hours, played cards, napped, there was a thunderstorm so we stayed inside and watched tv for a while, he gave me a tour of the base, met up with his flight for dinner, and ended the night hanging out at the pool. The best was finding out how OCD he's become with little threads on clothing- he found two on my shirt, he took out a little pair of scissors from his bag and trimmed them. =)
When we were going to bed he asked "covers or no covers?" I guess for the past two months he has slept on top of the covers to not have to make up the bed. I laughed and he did get into the covers. He also mentioned a couple of times throughout the day how excited he was to sleep in on Sunday.
Sunday morning at 5:20am the fire alarm goes off. The fire trucks showed up a little later and we were all evacuated. We had a good little laugh about it and had a great rest of the day.

Sand O Lovely Sand

Ayzlyn from the first moment she touched the sand just loved it. She snuck a hand full in her mouth as soon as she could. Adi on the other hand didn't want anything to do with it until she saw how much fun Ayzlyn was having with it. As you can see Adi soon had no problems getting the sand everywhere and on everyone. =)

Nursery

So I have started to let Adi go to nursery. I still don't leave her there alone and I clean all the toys before she gets to play with them but at least she is in nursery. Ayzlyn got to be with us this Sunday and she just loved it!!! She grabbed my phone out of the diaper and started saying, "dada dada." Guess she wanted to make sure Dad knew how much fun she was having.

Ayzie has been loving going to the potty in the toilet. Her cousin brings her little potty to the house when she comes over and Ayzie has been fascinated by it. Trying to stand up near it she lost her balance and went lip first into the tile. Opps!

Feeding the birds and seeing the plane

We gave the girls bread to feed the birds and neither one wanted to let go of the first piece. Luckily once they saw all the birds they were willing to part with some of their bread.

If Adi hears a plane she stops everything and will watch the plane until she no longer can see it. She's definitely her fathers daughter.

The three of us were on the swing, until Adi decided she wanted to sit by her cousin and didn't want me there anymore. Kids grow up so fast.

Loving the water

Adi has had issues with pools, not anymore!!! We are starting little and will hopefully be loving the big pool by the end of the summer. =)

Pictures

Our little Ayzlyn has the sharpest finger nails and likes to scratch the sheets as she falls asleep. She continues to scratch herself and as much as I have tried to keep her nails short and well filed she continues to leave her mark on everyones skin . The other day I was filing her nails and left the emery board on the ground and came back to this. Quick side note- she cries through the clipping and filing of her nails. I really hope she isn't using the emery board to sharpen those teeth for revenge. =)

A new chapter in life- The Air Force

Scott reported on April 20th. We have been able to talk nightly but there is nothing like being able to see pictures and videos of your kids. The next three months will be posts of random "little moments."

April 24-

Went to Kayla's game and then the LA zoo. Adi loved seeing all the animals and really enjoyed the bird show. Unfortunately, I was so happy to see Adi so excited I forgot to get the camera out. Opps!!! Sorry Scott.
