YUP!

My little sisters friend is borrowing my dress for prom but her step mom told her it has to have straps on it, so this week my sister and I thought about how we wanted to do them. We spent about 2 hours in the fabric store and didn't really like anything we came up with, until my sister said we should do something that laces up like it does in the back.

See those little white eyelets we used to make the holes, I told both my sister and my mom that you can buy just white one but they both told me no you can't. So what do we do?! We buy 100 metal ones and white spray paint to make them. When we get back to the house I lay a plastic bag on the cement so I don't ruin it when I spray them, one by one my sister and I set them up so I could spray the top. Well as you might have guessed right when I went to spray them the wind picked up and blew them on their sides!!!!! Again we put them all up right and try again, well this time when I spray them they alllllllllll go flying everywhere! Later when I was telling my mom the story see asked why I didn't just stick them to a piece of tap that way they will stay up, my sister and I shared a look of what was basically DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Geez we are so bright! Well after that all happened I was sick and tired of them and I didn't want to spray anymore, so I went to the craft store and low and behold guess what they had!!! White eyelets! Go figure, so yes I did tell them that I was right! All in all we had fun making them till late into the night, I like how they turned out! Oh and I went to a dinner tonight and guess what I did?! While holding the lid to the chili for someone I managed to get it all over my new white shirt! I had it for less then 10 hours and managed to get it dirty! I got asked if I needed a bib.

I am just going to start off by saying today has been a loooooong day, and everything that keeps happening is not helping it go any faster. On my way into work I realised that I did not leave in enough time to grab some food before I got there, so I figured that when I got to work I would ask if anyone else wanted anything and I would go pick it up. Only one other person and I wanted food so we decided to get barbacoa, here is where it allllllll begins! I get onto their website and I see that they have changed it, you know have to make an account with them, so I fill in all of the information it wants me to and order my food. When I go to check out it says my card does not match the name and billing information I gave, I had put my work address rather then my home address, so I go in and fix it and checkout again. Now it brings up a message that says this is a duplicate order and will not let me pay for my dinner, I then realized that I put only my first initial of my last name instead of my full last name, so I fix it and try again, again I get the same message. I finally decided I will just order mine when I go and pick up the other, I figure I'll leave in enough time that I can get there and order my food and the other order will be done. I went to the one downtown that is on 300 s Main st, as I am driving down Main I am looking for a parking spot and can't see any, I turn westbound on 300 s and try and find a parking spot and still can't see any! Finally about a block away from barbacoa I find public parking that I have to pay for, which at this point I didn't care I just wanted to eat! Right when I get to barbacoa 2 people walk out and get into their cars, which were right in front of it! I was so frustrated! Once inside I order my food and told the worker I also had another order to pick up, he argued with me telling me that he didn't have an order that needed to be picked up, I told him she ordered it online and it should be there, well guess what? He found it! TA DA! I pay for the food and I am on my way out, well on my way in I didn't realize that I went up 2 steps, so I think that I am just going down a step. Well I am sure you can picture what happened, not only did I stumbled but I almost managed to go threw the door! TOTALLY EMBARRASSING because there were quite a few people in there that saw me. One good thing did come out of it though, when I got back to my car and exited the public parking I had been in the not long enough to be charged!! The other thing that happened to me I can honestly say I have no idea how in the crap I didn't notice until just a few minutes ago.

I was in the bathroom washing my hands and looking at my face in the mirror, I then thought to myself why does my earring look like it is embedded in my ear? Well because it was! I had to wiggle it out and as you can see it basically gauged its self!

REALLY?!?!?!

This really is not an "Amber moment" is more of just my luck! So Tuesday night I sit down and open my laptop to do my homework, I hit the power button and notice that most of the screen is white mixed in with some funky lines and then the top half is completely broken and shattered. That is when I notice all around it is broken! Some how this weekend when it was in the back of our truck it got stepped on or smashed. So yesterday around noon my dad, Shane and I go to best buy to look at laptops and see if there were any good deals. I could not find one I really liked and I knew that I would like a MacBook but they were way to much, but I looked at them anyway and ended up buying one. The guy who was helping us told me that they only had one in stock and that is had already been opened but it was most likely that someone opened it to use it as the display and didn't realize one was already out so they put it back. So I am thinking okay that is fine with me plus I get a ten percent discount for it being an open box. The total with everything was over 1,500 which I think is ridiculous! Anyways we spent around three hours there and so by the time we are taking my dad back to work a I figured by the time I got home I would have to start getting ready for work, having not really slept the night before I decided to take the night off. We had to drive out to the best buy in Murray to pick up this program called Parallel so I can run all the stuff on windows for school. By the time we get home it was four-thirty, wanting to play with the MacBook I opened it and I was not very happy!! It was dirty and disgusting! It looked like someone ate chips and nasty other things and rubbed it all over the place plus there was this giant nasty sticky looking thing on it. I called them back and told them I would be returning it because that is gross, they tell me they wont get any in within the 14 days I need to return it. I had them check and see if any other places had it in stock, he said the one in SSL had 2 and the one in Orem had 5. For some odd reason my brain actually worked and I thought I better call the one in SSL and make sure they have one, turns out they didn't! By this time I just want to take it back and just get the money back. So we get back into the car and drive back to best buy, the guys at the customer service desk were really nice and when I showed them what I was sold the manager was not to happy! Turns out they sold me a display model, if they would have told me that from the beginning I would have never bought it no matter the deal I was getting! AFTER that we drove down to the apple store and got one from them, they were AWESOME!! I don't know why we didn't go there in the first place! Oh and it turned out to be cheaper getting it there! Now that it was around 8 when we got home I decided I would download the parallel program so I can get my school work done. While it is installing the program I read the user guide, it said that when it gets done it will tell you to reboot the computer, well it gets done but all it says is download was successfull never ONCE did it say anything about rebooting it. I figure it did not need to do it then and continue on, I do the activation key and register it and all that jazz, but then when I try to run the program it does not work so I uninstall it and then re-download it . This time it gives me the reboot option so I click on it. The user guide says that I can go back into the program and continue to finish it, well I try that but it does not work. I have now installed and uninstalled the program so many times I have lost track! Oh and I think I messed it up by already doing the activation key and registering it, so after Shane wakes up and goes to work I get to call more people and ask them how to help me and hopefully they can dumb it down to my level so I can understand what I need to do!
