Labor Day

A few weeks ago we got JEEP fever... and well we got a new toy. Wes has been working on it for about a month (can I just say how nice it is to have a handy husband).  After our adventure to Lagoon I hurt my back (OUCH!) I was down for a week and well it has been almost 4 weeks and I am still working on getting back to normal. Labor Day came and the boys have been waiting until my back felt better to take a family ride. Today we did it. It was fun to have the wind in our hair and see some of the leaves start to change. Looking forward to the next time we go...

It was HOT so we cooled off with ice cream.

This was Connor's favorite ride.. I lost count how many times he went on it.

A DREAM COME TRUE!

Connor has loved yellow mustangs since he was 2 and today his dream came true... kinda. Wes found one at a dealership and we just had to go for a test drive. I don't think I have ever seen a bigger smile on a his face. The only thing better would be if we took it home.

We had a little trouble backing the trailer in... It could have been so much worse. I think after this we are done camping for the year.

Vacation Bible School

The week before we went back to school we went to vacation bible school at our church. It was a blast!

Summer Time

Our first camping trip of the summer! We went to Cherry Hill. We love the water park and time together as a family. As Connor gets older I find myself savoring every minute of my time with him.

As big as he is... he still lets me know that he loves being a kid.

Last Day of 3rd Grade!

What a year it has been....we are sad to see it end.

After school I had water balloons waiting  and we had a water fight... I would like to say I won, but I can't. We had so much fun. I am so proud of Connor he had a great year. Learned many new things and had a lot of fun too.

Belt Promotion

Connor has been taking Karate for 4 months. I enjoy watching him in class he is so focused and loves the challenge. Tonight he had his first belt promotion. He has worked so hard to earn his next belt. Way to go Connor... We are so proud of you.

Mastering Math A Sherlock Holmes Problem Solving Mystery...

Connor had one of the leading parts in his class play. He we Sherlock Holmes. He loved the part and played it so well. I am so proud of all the kids they put in lots of hours to make this work. We really were blessed this year to have an amazing teacher this year.

ZOO TIME!

May 2013

Connor and I enjoy going to the Zoo. We have a pass and go every time he is off track. Wish we could go more like we did when he was little. I love to watch Connor watch the animals, his face lights up. I love this boy!

 

 

Connor loves all the animals, but the otters are his favorite.

Family Day

Over Memorial day weekend we went to the International Peace Gardens. It was a perfect day to hang out as a family.

3rd Grade Field Trip

Today was field trip day... Connor was so excited to ride the bus. Our first stop was the park for lunch and then on to Red Butte Gardens. Our group had the  BEST guide. She let us taste and touch lots of plants.
