A Little Behind

Well life has sure been crazy since May. I was working part-time through the summer. In Sept. I started the Dental Assisting program at the technical college. I completed a whopping 28 credits with a 3.9. Ya...There wasn't much time for anything else but school, homework and church callings.

I have finished 98% of gift shopping which is just in time for washer shopping as ours died a few days ago.

We had a great family reunion in Idaho this last summer. It was so fun to have our families together and even some extended cousins.

We got to buy a new - used car as well this summer.

I guess that happens when things get old, you gotta replace them. Hum...I wonder if I will need replacing?!

We welcomed grandbaby number 7! Taryn Tina was born to David and Chelsie on Nov. 14th. What a treat grandchildren are!

My goal is to be back on and post some pictures and update more often!

Well - It has been some time since I have posted anything and hope what I have catches you up to where we are! Jack and I had an 'empty nest' trial two weeks ago. Our youngest left to visit his sister in NC and then was to fly to Houston to sell pest control for the summer. A phone call changed those plans. He ended up home for a week only to leave this week for Las Vegas to sell pest control. So, it's just Jack, me and our two puppies. It's a very different life. However, Emilia will be home from school in a few weeks, Daniel will be released in July and Michael will be home in Aug. All for a very short time frame! (hum...maybe that is my wishful thinking!)

All is well - we are happy and healthy - another year older - and hopefully a little wiser for the wear.

Enriching the Lives of Others - Renton Stake Relief Society's Enrichment Day - We did many quilts, hygiene kits, scarves, and blocks to donate to the Church's Humanitarian Center. We had about 200 sisters join us and all projects were done in a few short hours - friendships formed and strengthened and hearts and hands reaching out to help others. I appreciate my counselors and committee heads and the many who helped to make this day possible.

Hyrum turned 8 and we got to go for his birthday and baptism. It was so fun to visit and play with the grandkids. We even had a great game of Cranium!
