It's been a while..... :)

I know it has been like forever since i've posted anything! We just have been sooo busy with school and the holidays that I haven't really taken the time to update our family blog. Here is rundown of what's been going on in our family recently.

*I stopped working (well i still work but only 16 hours a month) in September to pursue my degree in business......i want to go into interior design but at this point it's not really an option since the only school near us is BYU idaho......which is strange to me :)

* I am just finishing up my first semester back in school....It has been a nice change to go back to school and I am seeing how important it is to get my education now. It has given me the opportunity to be with Hannah all day and be the mom and wife that I have wanted to be.

*Brandon is still working hard and going to school. He is in his core classes right now and always is doing homework! I often tell him that he's not going to know what to do with himself when he graduates because he won't have homework to do. If things go as planned he should graduate the spring of 2011. I CAN'T WAIT.

*We just went on vacation. I found cruise tickets to mexico for about 150 bucks for 3 night cruise!!! So i convinced my parents to go and we had a blast! It was way better being in sixty degree weather than coming home to the single digits!!! I will post pictures as soon as i get them from my mom.

*Hannah stayed home and Grandma and Grandpa Weight watched her, she loves her grandparents. When she came home i've noticed she's learned some new words...."silly" She calls everything "silly" She also calls the cookie monster "Blue" and when i tell her that it's the cookie monster she yells at me and says "no mom, it's blue!!!!" She is so funny and loves spending time with all of her grandparents. Thanks Tad and Joyce for watching Hannah.

*Since i've stopped working Hannah and I spend a lot of time together. She is growing up so fast and talks like crazy. She is just barely starting to watch tv. Her favorite show is Special Agent Oso on the disney channel and I can't tell you how many times i've watched that darn show!

*Hannah needs to be potty trained.....the only thing is I have no patience whatsoever and no motivation! lol.....If you have any potty training tips they would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the lack of posting on our family blog. We hope everyone has a safe and fun Christmas this year.

Caramel Apple Disaster

So I bought some caramels like a week ago to make some caramel apples. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

There was microwave instructions...which I followed mind you......but apparently that was not a "microwave safe" bowl.

I guess we'll try again next year. :)

Finger Painting

Hannah and I did some finger painting today....well we attempted it at least! Hannah did not want to get her hands and fingers all dirty she kept saying "eww mom" and "hannah dirty!" So we ended up using paint brushes instead and she liked that way better! She is as girly as they come!!

Note to self

Do not let your child play with the remote or she might just buy a movie on demand that costs 5 bucks!! To top it off it was a stupid movie...........I told her that it's coming out of her allowance when she's old enough to get an allowance! :)

At least now we know how easy it is to buy a movie on demand! :)

Hannah's Birthday Parties!

Hannah turned 2 on Sunday and we had two little family parties. She got lots of new clothes for fall and lots of new toys. She had a blast opening the presents this year! I can't believe she is already two! Here are a couple of pics from both birthday parties! Thanks to everyone that came!

Family Pictures!

A couple of weeks ago we got some family pictures....here are a few of them. Sorry if they are a little blury...it's because the images are so large it makes them a bit blury to shrink them down to fit! Hannah would not smile in any of the pictures.......she is a little stinker!

Hannah's new hobby consists of calling eggs "balls" and throwing them on the floor.

This was her first offense.

I now clean up these "balls" at least once a week.

It's getting old.

Some new dresses for Hannah

I made Hannah a couple of new dresses yesterday and i thought they turned out so cute! I might add some buttons later but here are some pics of them! I have one more to make that is pink and brown but I don't have any brown thread...so that will be a later post...

Father's Day, Weight Family Reunion, and St. George

It has been very crazy these past couple of weeks!!! First of all, I want to thank Brandon for being such a wonderful Father and Husband. He sacrifices so much for our family and I am so thankful for him!!!

Brandon got some new dress shirts and ties to match! Doesn't he look handsome!!!!

Hannah's favorite thing to do is swing, the whole time we were up at the reunion she wanted to swing...it's a good thing it rained most the time so we didn't have to swing the whole day!!

This was the girl's weekend getaway to St. George Utah. We had a blast!!! We have decided it's going to become an annual event!!!
