We found this beautiful bike trail near our home. We call it the "princess" walk. It's really the old tobacco trail near Old White Oaks Church Road. Quite the names for the roads around here. Anyway, we got our bikes fixed up and I take the kids for rides up and down this trail. Horses are allowed on the trail too , so it's really fun for the kids. I shove them in my two seater bike trailer and go for it. My kids are really starting to put on the weight so even though I'm getting more in shape, they keep gaining weight so it's still just as hard to pull them. I think people on the trail can see how tough it is because they always make comments like,"Wow, quite the load your carrying." I get that everywhere I go. People around here don't have very many kids. All the baptist preachers tell me how blessed I am. I just tell them, "I know". It's kinda fun being amongst so many different religions. We keep having these Jehovah Witnesses come by our house on Saturday. We gave them a BOM and they stayed away for a while, but Ryan said they came by last Saturday. I wasn't home because I was out with the sister missionaries. They are so cute. Every time someone would open the door and actually talk to us, it was a miracle to them. It's just so fun being able to go out with them. They wished they would have been around when the Jehovah Witnesses came to our house. I guess the guy brought the big guns with him. We just can't get passed the Garden of Eden with them so we just go in circles. It's fun to talk religion though and hear what other people believe. I just feel bad when I realize that they don't know what I know and I'm so thankful to have the knowledge of the true gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. It brings such peace and comfort. Anyway, enough of that, I want to read my newly purchased copy of "Twilight". Ryan and I watched the show two weeks ago just because we'd heard so much hype about it. I liked it, so now I'll read it. Ryan liked it because it was in Washington. He wants to read the book with me but he is busy learning about routers and switches. Boring!

Wonderful people

Steve and Martha Phelon came to visit me on their way to see their daughter for Thanksgiving. They went clear out of their way to see me twice. They took us out to eat and to the Marbles kid's museum. (thank you Stephanie for allowing me some of your time with them). Anyway, Martha was and is a great example for me in my life. She also taught me how to clean. My husband should be very thankful for that. Steve and Martha are some of the best people I've ever known. I don't know where I would be if they weren't the kind of charitable people that they are. They've never hesitated to help a person in need. They are some of many people in my life that were instruments in the Lord's hands to help teach me and love me when I needed it most. Thank you Phelons! By the way you were so silly to leave me gas money! I thought I was finally allowed to give back a little. Thank you and thank you for the fun weekend.

I couldn't mention people who were instruments in the Lord's hands without mentioning Gary. He is another one of the very best people out there. He has helped me and my family and countless others so many times. He's been a great example to me of what a charitable person is like. He helped me gain some self -esteem when it was needed. Gary and his wife Dana and their family are awesome. Thank you for everything.

Well, I went private! I feel so secure now. I can say anything I want to because only people I invited are viewing my blog. That reminds me of Alice. She always gets a grin on her face when she goes into the bathroom and says, "Mom, we are in the potty room, so I can say "poop" and "toot"." She's so funny. No but it is a good thing. I did have some weird person leave their info. There was nothing on their blog. Their email was also weird, so I rejected them. I just didn't want some weirdo copying and pasting my kid's pictures on the web somewhere but anyway, thanks for all the response. Now I know that I really do have friends! Man, I'm lucky!

A Buncha funny things

1- Some of the guys at Ryan's work thought that Ryan was a polygamist because they knew he was mormon. hahaa, it's funny what people think they know about us. Ryan let them know that we are not polygamists.
2- I had a dream last night that I went to the cannery with Amy Broadhead and she was giving me a list of everything I need to put in my 72-hour kits. It's because I have been worrying alot lately about getting my food storage and I just read Amy's blog the other day and it was about how she was putting her 72-hour kits together and doing some canning. It would be great to go to the cannery with her but I think we live too far away. Maybe when we visit St George next time
3- Ryan and I have been able to actually go on dates lately because we found a great babysitter across the street. It made us think though, what if something happened to us, we don't have a will. So we tried to think of who we would have take the kids and we just can't come up with someone because they aren't us. It's crazy. We will just pray that nothing happens.
4- Big question, Where should we move? We are supposed to have our top 5 choices soon and we have no idea. We like this little adventure that we are on and think it would be cool to keep going, but we miss the mountains. We aren't aching for the mountains yet though so we could be fine without them for two more years. If you could pick any state in the US to try out for two years and then move back to where your family is and everything, where would you pick? You can't say Hawaii because everyone would live there of course.

Halloween is over!!

Halloween was fun with everything that we did, but I'm glad that it is over. It was alot of work. I dressed up as a witch (which didn't take much) Rockwell was Rocky, Grace was Snow White again, and Alice was Princess Belle again. It was the first time the girls got to wear make-up so they really liked that, but then the mascara really started to bother them. They were begging me to wash it off. We got pumpkins and carved them. We made sugar cookies and took them to our neighbors, and to the girls I visit teach . Then, we went to trunk-or-treat at the church on Thursday and went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood on Halloween. My kids have been high on sugar all week and I think I've about had it with sugar. I'm thinking I might try the no sugar diet for a week because I know I might be able to reach that goal. I just want to throw all of the candy away. Looking at it makes me sick. I've had my share this week which I think will last me until Christmas. We have one more can of juice in the fridge and after that I'm not going to buy any more for a while. This is big for me to do because I live on juice. I have a hard time drinking plain old water. The water here tastes like dirt. I'm going to have a really hard time getting rid of the chocolate milk in my life too. I'm willing to do it now so I better do it while I am motivated. It will save us money on groceries too, so that is a good thing.

Gracie is Crazy!

Grace just told me, "Mom, your hair is soooo shiny, but I guess you can't help that." I don't know where she got that but she is the cookiest girl I know. I love her.

Melanie tagged me. I went to the fourth file and got the fourth picture. This is of my little beautiful boy Rockwell. He is my pride and joy. We went camping with our ward. Ryan and I are on the activities comittee so we had to go. I was nervous of all the North Carolina bugs, but it ended up being really fun. I forgot to post about it. I'll have to put up more pictures. By the way, this was Rocky's first time camping. He kept us up all night making us laugh. He loved that we were all sleeping in the same little place. He kept putting his finger up to his face and pointing at us, and saying , "No, no, no," in a really cute way. Alice was giggling histerically and I think it woke up somebody's baby in the next tent. Grace's Birthday

Well , we had Grace's birthday party. She turned 3 years old. She is quite the cute little princess . This has been a long awaited day for her. She's been waiting for it to be her birthday ever since Alice had her birthday. I think it was everything she wanted it to be. I was a little bit sad that I was not able to watch her open her presents though. The kids sneaked them upstairs while the parents were busy conversing. They had their own little party in their bedroom. They played "The Screaming Game," as they called it. They demonstrated how it works to Amelia's dad. "You just jump up and down on the bed and scream like this, AHHHHHHH!" They had alot of fun. Rock was the monster because he kept trying to get on the bed and could not, so they thought that he was trying to get them but they were safe on the bed. Nicole 's dad got home from Iraq recently so that was nice to meet him finally. He was a really nice guy and we'll probably get to see them again soon for Nicole's birthday party. Anyway, I don't know why this is underlined but oh well. I don't know what I'm doing still.We

Here's some good flashbacks

I stole this picture from my cousin's blog. I love it. When we were little we would put on a dancin show for the Goodwin Christmas party every year. So we thought we would do it again for old time sake in this picture. This picture is about 8-9 years old now so we might have to pull another "bring on the dancin girls" show for my Grandpa. He loves it.

I'm missing gargious St Gearge lately. Don't worry I do know that it's really spelled gorgeous St George but I'm just trying to throw in the accent. I miss my temple too. It's mine because it's always been my favorite. It's just so happily situated. Ryan and I were sealed there and Alice was sealed to us there and so we just love it. I thought you would like it too.

A Buncha Fun Pictures

Dude, are these kids not like the cutest kids you've ever seen! OK I'm biased. I caught them on camera this month doing their usual tearing my house apart. They're wild animals. I love the one where Rock has a little table that he's knocked over and he's standing on it and bouncing back and forth going ahhhhhhh! He 's like a little ape. Then Grace was knocking over the lamp next to that. Oh I'm a good mom. That is how they get my attention when I'm trying to pay my bills. Oh they are fun though aren't they? They're quite the little posers too.

HI Everyone

Hi, guess what! I finally learned how to put music on my blog. That is very exciting for me. Now everyone can hear my favorite music while they look at my pictures. Fun! Anyway, maybe I can say something funny that happend with my kids lately. Hmm. Oh yes. We got a little BYU Cougars football for Rock's birthday that makes noises. When you throw it down it either says "Go Cougars" or it plays the "Rise and Shout" song. So he was playing with it and started saying "Go Cougars!" I love it! He has a little BYU section in his bedroom. I'll post a picture of him soon.

Hello!?

Alice was having fun with the camera and took this picture of Rockwell. She's quite a good photographer plus Rocky is quite the poser. Rocks always getting into the cupboards and he decided one day that the mixing bowl would make a great hat. I got such a kick out of it that Alice and Grace had to join in. Nice hats. I have a couple of older pictures in here because I haven't posted for so long. We had all the missionaries over for dinner and a firework show on the 4th of July. The real show happend right before the fireworks. There was a huge thunderstorm and it was pouring down rain. The wind was so strong it was ripping siding off of a couple

houses and pulling trees out of the ground. We thought we weren't going to be able to do the fireworks, but then it passed and was great. One of the missionaries seemed to be quite the pyro so we had to keep telling him that our kids were watching. It's so funny the mantel that is placed on these young kids. It's really neat to be around them and see what they do though.

Well, I haven't written forever because we have been ultra busy. We moved out of the Widmars after cleaning for a week and went to the beach for a week and saw kitty hawk where the Wright Brothers took the first flight. That was cool. Then we moved in and the next day Rocky started throwing up. The day after that Alice was throwing up, then I was throwing up and then the next day Grace was throwing up. Ryan started his new job and I took off to Utah to my little brothers wedding. I brought a Bof M with me in hopes to give it away but I never did. I think back now and there were many opportunities to do it but I'm to scared. Anyway, the wedding was great. Megan is a really cool, responsible girl so that should help Michael alot. Hopefully she won't get too frustrated with him!! Hahha! If she does she can call me. So Ryan's mom watched the girls while I took Rock with me. She spoiled them wrotten. They loved it. The weren't sure they wanted me back. Alice got a Hanna Montana swimsuit and a Hanna Montana outfit. She's obsessed. Sydnie got her into it. I don't really want her to get into her too much because I don't want her to idolize the cute little girl that turns into a slut bag like Brittany Spears. Anyway, we have a really cool community pool that is included in the rent, so we go there quite often. They also have a play room and a park, a gym, indoor basketball. It's really cool and the best part is it's free! We are really enjoying it here. The best part is not living in other people's houses and not being homeless. Hahha! Anyway, that's enough until next year, just kidding Melanie.
