Ms. Holly Ray Patterson

Pictures to come! We had our little nugget this morning at 9:46AM! She literally flipped in to the world which was pretty funny apparently, (i couldn't see) hahaha. She is a healthy 7lbs. 5oz. and 19in. long. Shes a good eater and a big talker which i think are definitely inherited traits. Labor was great, it started at about 3am and was pretty intense towards the end when my water broke. I was at 7cm at that point and then went from their to her being born in 20min. ahhhhhh! It was crazy and wonderful. Dallin and I were both overwhelmed by emotions from the whole experience and were just so happy to see our healthy little girl. Emery hasn't come to meet her yet but I am sure she will love her, when i post all the pictures i will document Emery and Hollys first greeting. Thanks for all the love and prayers!

Trunk or Treat, more like Trunk and Treat! hahaha Right?

What a wonderful party! Our church hosted a Trunk or Treat/costume party/ Chili cook off, and it was fun! Emery ate way to much sugar and ran around like crazy with the other kids in her cute little lion costume. She scored a ton of candy which Dallin and were really happy about when we got home and started eating it all. When i said to Dallin, " Honey I feel kind of bad we are eating all her candy." His response was, " We are keeping her healthy!" Hahaha I like the way my husband thinks. Dallin and I went as Juno and Bleeker from the movie "Juno". It was fitting considering my current physical state, and i'm a brunette. We had a lot of fun, ate some tasty chili, and way to many sweets.

Emerys Mischievousness

Mischievous-Def: Emery Hazel Patterson. I hope all her grandparents are ready because we are going to be home soon and we will use our free babysitter privileges. hahaha. She's pretty good, just curious. I think thats why she likes Curious George so much, she can relate to him. On to the story!It all took place when I went to take a well deserved and very necessary shower one morning. I did my usual thing where i went around and made sure all the outlets were covered, no knives or other sharp objects were in reach, sippy cup was up ( that is a whole other messy story) and Elmo was playing, I was good, right? Wrong! So Wrong! I must have forgotten that i had a two year old because when i came out of the shower there was....

What i was not expecting was the flour covered furniture in the living room.

Emery was in BIG BIG poo poo. I told her she was on my poop list for the day and their she stayed until she told me she was sorry and gave me a hug. I hate when she does that, so sweet, so innocent, what a stinker. All was forgiven and i cleaned up 5 pounds of flour from around my living room and kitchen. The sad thing is i laughed really hard and then only got mad when i realized how annoying it was to clean up. Poor Emery got some mixed messages but she knew she was in trouble.

Fall Funtivities

We are trying to get as much family fun time in with Emery before the baby come (which means we are spoiling her like crazy). It's going to be a huge adjustment so we want to make sure her "love tank/attention tank" is full before the new arrival. Everything thus far has been going wonderful, pregnancy is great! We have all the baby stuff cleaned and ready, just waiting for the little nugget to make her grand appearance. Emery has so lovingly given the baby a nickname, which is "baby haha". We are not sure exactly where she got it from but it's sweet. Emery loves talking, (cant imagine who she gets that from) she is a total crack up. She also LOVES to sing. She makes up her own songs and will put on little performances, where at the end she will clap for herself and say "thank you thank you" to all her adoring fans. We love having such a great entertainer in our house. She is slowing but surely getting her ABC's down. She is also able to count to three. Small victories, but she's getting there. Dallin is doing great in school and is already halfway done with the semester. He is getting anxious for graduation and working really hard to find a job for after he graduates ( any takers) handsome, hardworking guy who is super smart and has a ridiculously cute family....anyone? I am sure he will find something. I guess that's all for now. We have a couple Halloween get togethers to attend so i am sure there will be plenty of photos from those. As usual the pictures are backwards and slightly mixed up, one day i will get them in the right order.

We love Pizza around here! Emery was able to help me to make it this day and i thought it was too cute not to share.

Summer you were fun but i am glad you are DONE!

August was really fun, we had Emys birthday and my friend Kellys later on in the month. My friend Jane and I made her an amazing decadent chocolate cake. Yummy! I also did a dresser overhaul for the girls room and they are so sweet and perfect. I also made emery a skirt out of a pair of Dallins old Levis! So much crafting so little time. Here are some fun pictures including the 30 week baby bump which i was told if i didn't post it their would be mass rioting.....I hope it appeases the masses. Enjoy!
