Warren started his new job today!!

He's working for Western Union as the new business sales guy (bilingual) for TX, OK and KS. Can't wait to see him tonight and hear all about it!

Lots of standing around these days! Once she realizes she is standing unsupported she flops down onto the ground. Confidence is all this little lady needs now. We are in trouble!!

Auntie Dee's Puzzles

 

 

 

Auntie Dee is always really great to supply us with lots of puzzles for entertainment. One huge box of puzzles arrived while Mimi and Pops were in town. The kids had fun making one with Pops.

 We had a great day at the zoo!

 

 

 One of my favorite times was when Hallie played at the turtle tank. What is it with my girls and turtles? She LOVED these turtles. She was thoroughly entertained, even giving multiple kisses.

 My other favorite time was watching the kids in the bird house. When we first went in and bought bird seed sticks to feel the birds, we caught Jake eating the bird food!! He had seeds stuck all over his lips and cheeks. We had to convince him the bird seed was not for him, but for the birds!He had a great time feeding and holding as many birds as he could find.

 Jake insisted on wearing his cape the whole outing. This kid has so much enthusiasm. I love it!!

2nd Grade Musical

 

Cade was a rabbit. His ears kept falling down- I guess he was of the loppy ear varitey...
He insisted on bringing this huge carrot as a prop. Little did I know when I let him, that it would be quite the obstacle when doing different hand motions and hula-hooping. :)

 I LOVE all these fabrics!!!

      Warren says we should start refering to Hallie as "Hallie Potter" since she has slept in our closet for the first year of her life! I kept saying when I got the furniture painted I could put her in there. I've had the paint for 6 months. I just haven't had a chance to get to it. Then we saw wall paint on clearance at Home Depot and I got the decorating bug! I ran over to Hobby Lobby with my coupon and found this fun fabric for curtains and got to work. Within a couple days we were done.
       Hallie was not a happy camper to be in her new room for the first week or so. She missed her closet. But she seems to be fine with it now.
       I'm trying to decide if I want to take it up a notch and do some wide pink stripes on a couple of the walls..... Next step is artwork...
