6 month check-up

The boys went to their six month check-up this past Tuesday. The pediatrician was really impressed at how well the boys are doing. They are growing beautifully and seem to be really healthy. We are so happy and excited! They both weigh about 14.5lbs...so they are getting big. We will be going to Dell Chilren's hospital June 13th for a big day of tests & assessments to see how they are doing developmentaly. We will update the blog with any news at that point...we hope you all are enjoying the summer! We are excited about taking the boys out to the pool and spending our first summer together. Blessings!

Vaccines are no fun

Well we went to the doctor on monday for the boys to receive three more vaccines each. They were brave and did well at the doctor's office. The next day however (yesterday) Caleb came down with a fever of 102. So we called our pedi and immediately got him on some tylenol...anyways his fever seems to be pretty much gone now but if you read this today (wednesday) then please just say a prayer for little caleb that his fever would be completely gone. He was not feeling well yesterday and Austin had an adverse reaction as well. He vomited twice...both times on mommy!! He never technically ran a fever although it did get up to 100.3 so we gave him some tylenol as well. But they seem to be doing better today!

March for Babies

thank you so much to everyone who donated money to the March of Dimes!! We raised over $1500!! that is awesome- Jason and I are thrilled that all of you gave your money to further the research in neonatology! thank you so much! well we actually walked the entire 4miles saturday morning...we were expecting for one of the boys to have some kind of meltdown but that didn't happen (very strange). we took a few pictures of the walk...it was a lot of fun. we got to visit with some of the nurses and doctors from st.david's that cared for our boys!

Every guy needs a man robe! I don't think Austin (in the blue) or Caleb (in the white) were too thrilled with this...but it was very entertaining for mommy

The boys are doing GREAT! We are so happy that they have not been sick since their homecoming back in February. We are slowly starting to take them out in public...not church yet since there are SO MANY people in an enclosed area...but a few restaurants and a lot of time outdoors at town lake and greenbelts. It's so much work for Jason and I but we are so blessed by these little miracles. Thank you for continuing to pray and show interest in our sons!

Dave Austin

Uncle Dave was in town! The boys were very entertained (wink wink) by crazy Dave's antics...no really he's a very funny guy...Caleb is just sleepy! Austin and Caleb can't wait to see Dave again in May! yay!
