Visiting the Lees

Okay- so this visit took place MONTHS ago...but being the not-so-on-top-of-it person that I am, I just barely downloaded the pictures to our computer. But we had a blast- moving hay, going roping, and just hanging out!! This is definitely one of our most favorite places!!

Well, I have to get serious about being a serious photographer. I have a long way to go still, but I am finally moving in the right direction. I have even created a website with some of my pictures (see link). Check it out because I'm going to be looking for victims to practice on!!

Learning To Pray

So Hannah has finally learned to pray! Of course she won't sit still for anyone else's prayers, but she thinks that she has mastered the idea of prayer. She kneels down, folds her arms, furrows her eyebrows, gets all serious and mumbles who-knows-what. When she's done- she jumps up and is all ready to play. We must be a sober sight when we pray...at least she seems to think so. Take a look (it's very cute)!!

A Little Confused

A few weeks ago, our landlord gave us BYU vs UNLV tickets for Saturday night (apparently she was under the misconception that all Mormons are BYU fans- but who am I to pass up free football tickets). So Vern (all decked out in ASU attire) took Tyler with him to the game. Tyler (while dressed in BYU colors), decided to cheer for the UNLV Rebels ("the ones with the red helmets"). And apparently confused about our loyalties, he would occasionally yell out "GO DIAMONDBACKS!!". (He must have known that the Diamondbacks were in need of a little support!). What a cute kid!!

Ain't Going Down Till the Sun Comes Up

Last weekend we had Stacy and her kids down to visit. We all had a lot of fun, but I think Hannah wins the "Party Hard" award. The first night, she was so excited to have everyone sleeping in her room, that she was laughing and playing well after all the rest of them managed to tune her out and get some sleep (including the adults). Then about 3am, I woke up to go to the bathroom and thought it might be a good idea to close the curtains in the bedroom so that Hannah might sleep in in the morning. As I walked into the room, there was Hannah...legs dangling out the bars of her crib, singing & smiling from ear to ear. I'm still not sure if she ever really went to bed!! She must know we live in Vegas (the town that never sleeps)!
